Wow, 2 jobs furloughed? That's rough. I'm still working 3 days a week at my vet clinic, but not as many hours/shift. It's a blessing though because it's been super stressful with the way things are and I'm enjoying my downtime. I have a second job in teaching. The course is an externship for vet tech students, and that's all on hold until this passes. My downtime consists of making masks (go back a page or 2 and you'll find what some of them look like under a spoiler), hiking on remote trails on rainy/snowy days when no one else will be, and playing Final Fantasy 7 remake on the PS4(which I'm about to do now lol) :D Your HA is cute!

I like how you said earlier that you generally only read happy endings and fiction right now. I would like to have boundaries like that sometimes. As much as I tell myself that I enjoy stories with doom, gloom, gore, violence, & dark themes....I sometimes feel better when I am filling my mind with uplifting and happy things. Especially right now. Anything you have watched or read lately that you recommend?

I have missed a lot of the conversations here the past day or 2 but 2 more things...I think its inspiring that some of you guys are nurturing your crocheting and sewing hobbies! And oooh hiking/walking is a definite help to combat the blues/boredom, if one is able to. I have been going on a couple walks a day with my dog.

my mother tried to teach me how to crochet, but the only thing I know how to do is make a long chain!! I've watched some YouTube videos and I'm sure I could figure out more if I put my mind to it. But honestly, I'd rather not pick up ANOTHER hobby right now!! I have a few unfinished projects that I need to complete! But with renaissance faires being put on hold, I guess I don't have to rush to make my outfits and stuff(it's call procrastination lol). And YES, getting outside and walking is very good for the soul. Especially when it's in the middle of the woods and it's quiet and peaceful. Hubby and I try to get out at least once a week if not more.

I need to move my PS4 back into my room so I can play. My family asked if I could bring it down so they could watch their streaming services, but they got a new Chromecast stick so they do not need it anymore. c:

I have been dabbling in the only hobby I have tried to avoid my whole life....cooking 🙊 I just get so irritable when cooking because I get too hungry during xD but I've planned some off-days from work around it and have made several things lately and am actually enjoying it. Baked some things too. Hopefully you can get into some new PS4 games too! What do you like to read or watch mostly?

I mostly like to read and watch things about the supernatural or fantasy. The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is probably my favorite show! Along with Buffy the Vampire Slayer xD

They give me such joy, and I am humbled they allow me to be a small part of their world. We run a rescue along with breeding program, and it is sad the things that humans do to animals (and each other) in the name of...______________ (fill in the excuse).

- They are spendy, for sure, and we are lucky since this ranch has been in my husband's family for hundreds of years. We are just living a legacy here...

Oddly Dragonite is the main reason I'm playing Let's go Eevee. 75 hour of play, and I still don't know where to catch one, much less a female. It hurt to battle one, so Ahkoum made it fast.
