- I had no elastic...I did have old tshirts...If you slice a one inch strip out of a tshirt (you can get lots of strips out of one shirt) then stretch the strip...the material curls into a soft little tie...which is what I used on masks. It won't fray...just curls up perfect. I saw online that some used those tshirt strips to make a loop for around the ears...mine tied behind the head, one at top and one at bottom.

well the t-shirt use is a new idea. I read ties are better to do, because the elastic around the ears, can be irritating on the ears, for medical staff having to wear the mask on long shifts.

Hi :) Not really a chicken farmer...I just pretend I am which is fun haha I only have one chicken and she gives me an egg almost every day. I started with four chickens a few years ago and one died as soon as we got them home. Three lived for a couple of years then Bernice died. Ruthie died a year later and Paulette is still hanging in there. She was my favorite anyway so happy she is still with us. You couldn't think a chicken could have a personality but Paulette does :)

Oh! I am so sorry about your three other chickens, but I am so happy you still have Paulette! I love that name so much! And it is awesome you still get eggs. c:

- Thank you :) Those eggs are so good too. I used to think an egg is an egg...but when fresh they are just...eggier...so good. Chickens are comical...when we had the three of them we'd let them out and just watch the antics. They were like little cartoons :) It was especially funny if I put out a treat they had not had before...Paulette would march up and just start eating and the others would be all nervous and approach with caution ...so funny how they are different. haha see what happens when I start talking about them...okay one more thing...the time our dog let them out and corralled all of them in a corner and wouldn't let them out. She is a mix and part herder and probably thought she was doing a good job :) She didn't hurt them.
