I...have no idea where to even begin checking I have over 16k wearables...
Also seconding that it would be AWESOME if we are given a plaintext list of which items are being restored to our accounts, even better if we are given notice ahead of time exactly how the items will be put into our accounts.
Is using saved outfits to restore data not going to restore borrowed items? I know you want to err on the side of caution, but it seems wrong to give people a bonus for borrowing. Surely there are other logs that could be checked against them?
Finally got the old Wardrobe working for me, so I can start doing a check on the small amount of items I have. I'll let you know if I have anything missing (also going to use Subetalodge to log all of the items to keep a running tally over here as well of said items).

Ant Agony, Butterfly Bruise, Carchari, Caterkiller, Crack Head, Cryomorph, Crystalitis, Death Roe, Death Slug, Doom Bloom, Eau de Ceased, Fevermore, Grosseries, Ilunopox, Gummy Squirm, Love Bug, Metalmorphosis, Muerte Fuerte, Naughty Nip, Pinkie Patch, Queasea, Jolly Rotter, Sickura, Snack o-lantern, The Vapors, Befowled, Wrapture, Yggdrakill, and Transmewtation.
Okay, I'm worried now.....I dont recall every single thing I have or had in my wardrobe and now I've heard that even checking if you lost items could cause you to lose MORE items. I can't believe this situation is even an issue. On top of that, the 1000 csc that everyone is supposed to get, I haven't received. So yeah....not feeling this sitch at ALLLLL.
you've got to go green...baby.

And I may be wrong, but I think the glitch is stopped by now, you won't lose any more items. There was a list/spreadsheet of some sort here where items were listed by users that are most likely missing (or most users are missing) (e.g. ) ...
You dont have to do your own checking. Staff is aiming to restore all the missing items whether you report them or not
Oh I couldn't tell you what I had in there and what I didn't. I just intermittently add things I like here and there. ^_^" I hope that this gets sorted quickly. Thank you for the compensation. <3
So even if we didn't personally use the wardrobe during this time frame there's still a possibility that some of our items disappeared? I haven't been very active in these past few months...
Is there any chance we could get an Alphabetized sort option? I have a disgusting amount of items but I can check them against an alphabetized list of stuff I have even though it will take an eternity. Also only being able to sort by "added to wardrobe" and "added to site" plays merry hell on me just looking through items :(
Yes
There's an alphabetized sort on the old wardrobe, if it works enough for you to use. Or if you're using a Subetalodge list, you can sort the list by when an item was created to comb through that way. If neither of those are feasible, I'd personally probably just wait it out instead of doing my own digging lol
lmao i'm very on point today, wrong topic

I checked my CWs first, and I didn’t lose any but I also only have 45, however I took out 5 CWs to sell the day before this announcement was released. The 5 CWs were these: so if you have or had any of these they’re probably not in the wardrobe thanks to me:
5 CWs I removed
As for all the other items...I also have like 5000 wears in my wardrobe and won’t be able to remember even a few that went missing. I went and checked on a few items that I use frequently and a few CS items I use a lot and they’re still there. However at the beginning of this thread I saw someone mention how they noticed they were missing all the “slicing light of” items (old lightsabers) and I recall that I also noticed that the other day too while questing and re bought them all because I wanted to keep them in my wardrobe in case there was a surprise revamp for them. So I probably did have them in there but they got deleted.
I’m not really trippin about this and whoever is trippin needs to chill. Subeta will take care of it, they will get all our items back. You guys claim to love subeta and spend hundreds of dollars on it but have little to no faith in the staff. Yes they fucked up but shit happens. I mean look at the world we are in right now, we are in a pandemic because someone was “adventurous” with their cuisine and ate a bat. Crazy shit happens out of no where and that’s life. This didn’t happen because staff sucks and doesn’t care. I’m sure even Keith is trying his best but being “rude” because he’s stressed as fuck. Please be nice to staff guys.
Due to a glitch in March 2020, some items were mistakenly deleted from your wardrobe. All of your items affected have been restored, and no further action is needed on your part. (You can find more info here.)
Thanks for all your hard work!!!

I am not old. I am gracefully aged
Thank You so much for letting us know what happened and trying to take care of things in a timely matter, I for one appreciate it a lot.

This isn’t a personally-directed post or anything as I’ve seen many people post the same sentiment, but people are angry because of many reasons, not just the items being lost. I’m pretty alright, just peeved that the communication from staff is consistently lacking. But anyway, here are some reasons I’ve seen:
list
This glitch was apparently pointed out by someone in GA beta testing and they didn’t look into it. Wardrobe was pushed anyway.
People have been playing mental gymnastics for a week to try and figure out where their items went. I’ve seen posts from a lot of people with memory issues who essentially had to convince themselves that they must’ve moved the items without remembering.
The original post from Keith was very vague and didn’t contain any information. In fact he even said the reason behind the glitch wasn’t “interesting.” But transparency is very important and if he had information at that time, he should’ve included it. He also didn’t ping the siteupdate group. And he never once replied to his own thread. As nice as it is to hear from that Keith is working on stuff behind the scenes, just a quick reply to calm the panic would’ve been nice.
People were left to speculate for nearly 24 hours before this official post was made. No answers, just people going off the knowledge that they had no backup because they “never needed” a backup. (And not checking the backups for 4 months.. oof.)
A lot of people spend a lotttt of real money on this site. It’s a product that people pay for. Especially the CW market, which was impacted in a way that again, wasn’t clarified at all in the original post. Some people’s livelihoods are made on this site. It’s understandable that they’d panic.
Lack of communication! The original thread was just a pingless forumpost. On many threads about site issues, you see people saying stuff like, “Why isn’t this a news post?” and “I rarely use the forums and I wouldn’t know this was here.” So a lot of the frustration came from users needing to be pinged by friends and notified of, again, a big vague post about a glitch that, at the time, no one knew could be solved. Honestly this one got to me the most. There’s even an entire (unrelated) thread called “it’s time to talk about communication” or something like that where people are begging staff to post updates on the news.
Just thought I’d compile all of these issues in one post, because people aren’t only mad about some pixels on a screen, and I’m sure not a lot of people have the time to read through two long threads and find out exactly what people have been saying.
Subeta Message: Heeeeey your items are fully restored, no biggie. You're good to go.
Me: Oh cool. I didn't even bother to check, I trust you.
Subeta Message 10 minutes later: Yeah, that thing we said? Yeah that wasn't accurate and your items aren't fully back, but we're working on it! We're cool!
Me: ....well time to actually try and remember what Cash Shop and CWs I had in my wardrobe that I won't notice are gone until I go to wear an outfit and realize I'm not wearing hair or pants.
Right, so I meant to ask: how is Subeta even policing the 1k CSC thing or is that meant for everyone? Because I'm that person that's going to ask that.
Not that I necessarily want/need it but I'd hate to have it come back and bite someone in the butt.

When they posted it, they posted it as an announcement and put it in the news. Since it seems like everyone's wardrobe had the possibility to be affected whether they had used the new wardrobe or not, I think the CSC is meant for anyone to collect if they click the link. Otherwise they wouldn't be advertising it on the news page. The CSC is also not meant to compensate anyone for any lost items or lost CWs or anything. It's just a general apology that this situation happened in the first place.
