You swipe up the thick envelope, and open it. Out falls a pamphlet, mask, cd (of all things), and a couple sheets of sloppily written music. You're also the winner!
You Pick up the second envelope, and as you open it, it poofs into smoke leaving behind an assortment of do-dads!
You smile as you bend to pick up the cute pink envelope. You open it, and out slides a couple of stickers and a couple of masks and an amulet which seems to have been the source of the noise.

After opening the mysterious envelopes you wander over to the curtained walls. As the draperies sway with the passing dancers you notice there are hidden doors behind them. Each one is carved with a different mask image, which one will you open?

After wandering away from the curtained walls and feeling the draperies sway almost if by magick you hold your carved mask to your chest as you move down the hall... Along the hall to your left are three large doors all different in appearance which sorta of resemble Books you have seen around Subeta. Which mysterious Door do you open?
◇ Door One is covered in Sketches tacked to the door with golden pins. Frilly lace and ribbons are tied around the doorknob. It almost sounds like sewing machines are being used behind the closed door.
◇ Door Two has pictures and scribbled drawings of all of Subeta wonderful and interesting Pets on the wooden surface. Handing from the doorknob is a collar and attached is leash. How odd.
◇ Last but not least Door Three seems to be pulsating as if alive and a mirage of colorful lights play across your feet from the crack under the door. The door itself is covered in runes and odd symbols that seem to glow when touched. You can also hear faint chanting and whispering behind the door.

You open Door number Two taking the collar and leash off the doorknob as you go, as the door swings open a swarm of cute Subeta pets knock you over and give you lots snugs! You're going to need more than just the one collar!

You open Door number Three and find a room filled with Magickal items, cauldron bubbling and potions in the works of being made. Colorful gems sitting in the window seal cast rainbow of colors across the floor and the chanting and whispering you heard is coming from a small black demon-like figure sitting back and staring at you in confusion. I think you might just found a familiar to take home with you!

I make doors, they pick a door, they all get prizes; ones a winning door, but winning door does not equal best prizes necessarily? Hmm? (but don't worry, I'm neither mean nor a cheapskate!) twiddles fingers Okay. Okay, I maay have gotten a liiiittle carried away…
…What an exhausting day. Ever since that wardrobe malfunction... you tug at your dress... but thank goodness you took off your shoes! Still, you aren’t feeling so well since you went and ate those Finger Foods from the Libertine Lounge. You have a bad habit of eating your feelings. :(</p>
<p>Your head aches lightly and you stumble around the corridors -- further and further from the music of the ballroom -- only in want of a good chair. Instead, you turn sharply around a thick velvety curtain and find three odd doors at a dead-end hallway. It’s not well lit. You get the feeling you’re not really supposed to be here; it’s probably one of those “staff members only” things. Still, no ones there, so you take a look around. Maybe you’ll find a seat?<br />
--<a href="I.">b</a>[/b] The first door appears to be made completely of thick, clear glass! It’s cool and hard to the touch, but the steamy masquerade air has it fogged over a bit. You wipe away at the glass curiously -- is there a chair in there? -- only to see strange colors swirl inside. [I]Oh.[/I] It’s clearly not a hollow door. It is pretty, though. Colors of dusky blue, an arid white, spectral swirls, pops of lilacs, and s-something red, vaguely appearing like… wait, is… is that blood inside there? You lean in closely -- you [I]must[/I] be imagining it -- ooh, but it definitely appears to be blood!</p>
<p>--<a href="II.">b</a>[/b] You’re taken aback and attempt to steady yourself against the second door, but… it’s soft. Er, too soft. [I]What?[/I] Perhaps you ARE running a fever. It actually looks as though this door is made of thick materials stitched together and feels as though it’s stuffed with pellets! You’re not sure how it’s even standing upright? What in the world! You’re not sure how [I]you’re[/I] standing upright! You slide your hand across the surface of it… and the insides RECOIL and MOVE! A straaange, strange noise emits from behind it, as though [I]it could feel you too[/I]?! EWww!</p>
<p>--<a href="III.">b</a>[/b] Taken aback, you turn your attention hard on the third door, but you dare not get too close for a moment. Those other two -- yikes -- and you’re sure this one will take the cake. Wait. Wait, it’s… is it made of cake?! You really feel you’ve lost it now, because you don’t hesitate a moment, before plunging your finger into a large swirl of what appears to be thick strawberry-buttercream icing. Yeeesss… you grin. You’ll probably be sick to your stomach tonight! You lick your finger with a laugh but -- and it’s not the brandy talking -- it’s legitimately way more disgusting than it looked.
Ugh[/I]. You turn to look over your shoulder. No one seems to be around. And you’ve little better to do. Why not take a peek behind these weird doors? But… they’re weird… and eeewww. [I]Which one will you choose?

Following that eating-your-feelings vibe as usual -- and perhaps against your better judgment -- you push your sticky fingers through to open the third door. It looks like servers have been placing food trays in here, which seems a little odd, being so removed from the ballroom! You peruse the assortment of confections for something a little tastier than the door itself. But… oh. [I]Ooh.[/I] It’s obvious this is catering to the Undead Social Hour going on just down the hall. No wonder that icing tasted so funny! xP Eeew, yuck!
You push open the first, thick glass door and -- wait, what? It’s the BACKDOOR to the lounge? Those colors you were seeing were just being thrown and refracted through the many drinks from the lights all around. They’re drinks! Not potions! Wow, you really had a whole other thought process going on in your head, didn&;t you? Hahah. Potions… srsly. You laugh and shake your head, but before leaving to find that chair, you uh… you decide to down a few more drinks. It’ll just have to be a helluva night. ❤️
Even after that scary noise, you just can’t help but wonder if there is something soft to sit on behind that 2nd door … and you were right! (CONGRATULATIONS, YOU CHOSE THE WINNING DOOR!) The small room has beanbag chairs scattered all about! Thank goodness! You plop in one with delight but... AAAH! Another noise? What’s that?? ...OMG it’s a scary clown doll. Was… was this the noise you heard or are you crazy? Is this thing haunted? You frown. Y-you can never trust a clown doll, can you?? After a good long rest, and staring into its soulless eyes, you pick up your shoes and decide, what the heck… you’ll take it home with you anyway. ;0

oh yay! I've won! huggles her evil clown doll uhm... I tried to write a story as well. Please excuse this "story".
You've lost. You've been defeated. How'd it happen? Well, you're not exactly sure. All this outrageous man has done was mock your choice of weaponry, no matter what you picked up. He then suddenly announced he's won and stalked off with your dance partner, before you could react, in front of everybody. That's right, now everybody and their pet knows you've been bettered by this... pompous individual. Utterly crashed, you take off running, though it takes you a good minute to realize the ball room's exit is in the very opposite direction, and you're now standing in a hallway full of doors. Three doors, to be exact. I've never said it's a big hallway.
Oh great, you think, might as well hide away behind one of these doors until whoever's witnessed your defeat vacates the premises.
Door number one is grey and it appears metallic. Huh, you think, unusual for such an otherwise ornate building. You approach the door and touch it for some confirmation. It's cold and yepp, definitely made out of some kind of metal. Wait, metal is supposed to feel this cold, right?
Door number two is wooden, unremarkable and locked... or is it? There's a fancy, heart-shaped key inside its keyhole. Locked from the outside, eh? Seems like an invitation if I've ever seen one. Should you take it, though? It appears somebody was trying (however unsuccessfully) to keep intruders out. Or were they trying to keep something in? What's the worst that could happen?
Door number three is also wooden. In fact, it looks almost identical to door number two, RUDE, except there is no key but a thick layer of dust covering its entire surface. You take a few steps closer and can almost feel your allergies begin acting up, but no, why would there be no key in this one? Feeling cheated, you lean down and oh, there's movement in the keyhole. There are signs of life. There's... a friggin Spider coming out to greet you from the other side of the door, although it retreats once it's spotted you. Should you... follow it?
Now the big question is, which door do you choose?
