Bahahaha XD It means that you're specifically looking for a shiny Pokemon. It's done in different ways depending on the game and Pokemon. I'm doing a dratini that is given to you, so I basically get it, look to see if it's a shiny and if it's not I reset and do it again. It can take a long time because shinies are rare as shit, especially in older games.

I may or may not give up, AHAHAHA; It's honestly my first time doing this (I've tried two other ways in another game, but had to give up one way and am focusing on this one for now). Good luck on that ! I don't play that game but I know people spend a loooot of time getting the exact villagers they want.

I'm going to try ! There were a handful I wanted to do in this run but forgot to save at the right time for all but this one and the celebi (haven't gotten to that part of the game, hoping I don't fuck it up and that I have the energy to pull it off). I recall the older game the villagers would leave randomly, thus ruining the "perfect village" ... Is that still a thing ?

I hope you can too. Can you go back for the other bits? Thankfully no. They ask to move out and you can tell them bye or stay lol. But if theres someone that's come to visit in the campground and you want them, that could cause problems. If your village is full it'll give a random villager name to move out. The problem is that could be the favourite villager. So at that point you have to shut the game off before it can save, and try all over again (normally you have to win a card game) and hope they pick a villager you don't want as much. Took me like 2 hours to get Joey the duck last time this came up.
