I guess what i'm saying is that the shop search for tomes, looks the exact same to me today as it did when I capped my pet 2ish years ago, except that amulets are 400-450K instead of 285-350K. And back when I was boosting amulets, I was also flipping them to pay for the boosting.

I'm not disagreeing with you I was just curious if they were actually selling, or the price of amulets had finally caught up to the demand for tomes, since there was an incredibly exploitable arbitrage there for years, and I had figured the arbitrage had just closed.

I've been selling amulets for under 400k and Tomes at 3mil... only because right now I don't need them and I'm not good at hoarding. I was surprised to see how much both went up in price... Though amulets rarely went beyond 400k and would end up much cheaper within a few days if they got too high.

Times are changing.

I always sell my amulets (can't be bothered with annoying chance stuff) and only use tomes I get from battling or whatever, never buy them. It's taking forever to cap my pet but that's ok, he'll get there eventually.

It's surprising to me that Negating Pylonic and glaciating Pylonic hold their prices so stable over long periods of time, despite how many enter the economy, and how few probably get used.

I've been turning in all my amulets because my next goal is getting Numair to T12, but my luck's been so bad recently I'm going back to selling them. I could have bought at least three tomes yesterday from the sP I would have made doing that. Maybe the drop rate has changed and that's why tomes are going up in price? Anyone farming them from opponents is probably doing so to use them, so the only ones in the economy are mainly from jerk-bear.

28/30 today. Numair's still 3k stats from T12, I forgot how slowly it goes at this level. Danil's 800 stats from T10 and actual decent weapons, maybe I should focus on him for a little bit so he can start tome farming in earnest... but his AP is low and I hate book grinding... decisions, decisions.

Also I'm impatient for Survival. I demand Nacho Muerte this year.

I use a Negating Pylonic once in a rare while when I'm really desperate...it can make a difference in a pinch. I mainly avoid consumable battle items because I'm too lazy to replace them haha.

Thanks! Yeah, the Cronus Blade is a cool wearable too but less versatile, in my opinion. It takes up a lot of space and it's kind of awkward, but I could find a use for it. If only it could be transformable...

Thanks! I think my weapons are decent but not amazing so I have to rely on stats to make up for it. I got into battling too late to earn the really elite stuff and I'll never be able to afford it. I'm sure most serious battlers are able to defeat challengers a lot sooner than my pet can but that's ok; we are patient! Grinding for amulets and tomes is so tiring...I just can't bring myself to do it sometimes. I think "Oh, 5 battles isn't that much..." but then each battle takes forever...so many clicks...
