Subeta has gotten stale in a lot of areas tbh. Don't hold your breath on the battle shop getting new items or a revamp to the battle system :x
Use the tokens, boosts stats and level up. Soon you will have more tokens than you know what to do with and a high tier pet. Even quicker if you have a second battle pet. I wound up jumping 5 tiers across 4 pets over 3.5 months thanks to battle shop boosters and BQs
time. Battle Quest
Sorry I’m late sending these out. I started a new job and I work to 9:00 pm or midnight Subeta time.

It would be nice to be able to beat up some more of the Impossible challengers... at T12 I still struggle. Mostly due to my OK (not bad but not good) battle set and complete inability to retain information re: battle strategy. But stats would help too :D
Wow! That's insane. Thinking more about it, if they did add/upgrade anything they would probably do a reset - maybe even have to if they wanted to change anything post-V2. That would mean more tokens! (I'm half speculating and half giving myself more reasons to boost :P)
I don't even want to think about a reset. It would be nice farming the worthwhile challengers again, but all those easy opponents ;o;
What tier is your pet?
I would boost him if you are still struggling with a lot of imp challengers and if you want to be able to farm tomes off of imp challengers. That's if you only have the one battle pet. And when you farm the imps, you will get more imp tokens
I wouldn't worry about lukien but prodigy is definitely worthwhile for the tomes and mage amulets he drops. Your second pet will definitely benefit. I'm racing a friend now from tier 7 to T8. We both started at the beginning of the month, her maybe 3 days before me and even though she doesn't have a high tier pet to help her farm more tokens, she's still past the halfway mark to T8 with just battle shop and BQs
I would only save the tokens if you don't need them, but it sounds like you still have options
Stats definitely do help as well, although for impossible challengers, having the right battle set can be very important. If you need any advice concerning strategy, you can always ask me or even better, ask here (I received a lot of helpful advice ❤)!
I quickly compared your pet's stats to my T13 a year ago. My T13 had lower core stats than your pet currently has (14'218 as compared to your 17'239), and was able to advance to T13 within a year without boosting (sold all tomes and some battle tokens to buy weapons XP), but simply by doing battle quests every day and fighting all available opponents. So imagine how much faster you could do that by using boosting as well! ^^ Good luck!
Also, I fear a reset as well lol. I still have to beat all opponents with my other T13 (that kindly let me adopt) and my job is currently killing all my energy to battle in the evening. Hopefully things will calm down soon so that I'm prepared for a reset that might or might not happen at one point (not that I think it would be soon...).
You've convinced me :) I would really like to beat these challengers! I would actually especially like to beat the impossible Cash Shop Challengers (there are 20+ I can't get to 10) so that I can get the achievements a few of them have tied to them. Looks like tonight is boosting night!
I don't even wanna know how much token farming real battlers do. That must take forever...
I might just do that. I've made two set advice posts in the past few years and didn't get much input, so I rely on other ones that do. Maybe third time will be the charm. I know what you mean about having no energy at night. Especially with the lag on-site lately. It takes all my motivation to start grinding and then tbh I give up after the second or third wave of lag. It just feels like I'm hitting my head against a brick wall and I do that enough during the day at my job.
Ah, sorry to hear that! I hope it will be different next time. I'm not much of a forum person, but I do check the set advice forum every once in a while. If you don't hear anything there, you could always try to ask in this chat directly - also concerning specific opponents. And yes, the lag is quite annoying. I try to do the battle quests as early as possible to avoid it, but doesn't always work out...

I'm still farming tomes and amulets. Started with Impossible and I'm now down to Hard. Haven't even touched CS challenges yet. Please no reset. Would be quite happy with battle event though.
You are a beast. I do not envy when you take on the easy challengers. I've only done them all with 7 pets and want to die lol
It's a lot of farming if you have a lot of pets x.x I just have the two right now that can consistently take on all imp challengers so even though I downgrade tokens, I still have about 2k imp tokens I don't know how I want to spend yet LOL. A lot will probably go towards leeches to fix stats
I think my problem is I always think "Where do I start?"
And then there ae things like the Critical Tears, the Parched Baguettes, the Parched Tears, the BONAs. I then think, "Do I need to stock up on them first, so I have some (and yes, I know they're not overly expensive to buy with sP).
And my head starts spinning, and I feel like that lady in the math problem meme
You Won! You have defeated Crithbolcan
HEMI earned 3500 EXP Points!
I think my argument still stands: you can win the parched baguettes from Forj, and those are the only ones that might not be easily affordable, so if you can beat her more often due to better stats, you don't need to save up battle tokens for that. Of course, you can still keep some just in case...
To add to efferd, 1 imp token = 9 very hard tokens so the more imp tokens you can win through battle quests and farming, the more you can always convert to smaller tokens. It takes stats to make stats
Well, I did get the scroll from her...I don't think I've battled her since to be honest. I was just looking at trading down to easy. I could get 5 of each stat booster (Minus the Spiraling Ascension Potion) and I'd still have around 1000 tokens left.
I can also buy about 5 more Frozen Froths, and I'd still have 100 tokens left, and I can still trade down there if I decide to get rid of the rest of my very hard tokens
