where are you having problems with Mutant Scientist? I have a pet that caps in a couple thousand points with 300+ AP and is able to get 12 wins. Are you freezing the first turn and trying to chain freeze? If you let her frost protection activate she's difficult to handle. Once frozen I'd recommend throwing everything + kitchen sink. I'm using two ballistas while she's frozen and if she isn't a Maniacal Essence with parched bags and a Manifesting Weapon with parched bags. I put 4 critical strike crystals on each Ballista so one out of every 4 or 5 turns is at least a 10k hit.

Bones should have plenty of AP to get 10 wins. Just use the parched mods on your attackers (you may want to consider a Maniacal Slappy Hand instead of a Manifesting Weapon as your second) but you'll need a weapon that blocks dark, I use a ME.

The pet I'm using is princess with higher stats. I never considered Balista I think cos last go my freeze protection did not work I lost. I'll check what I have modded with. What other weapons do you have equipped? Also how many shrieks do you use. I have 10 shrieks then used perilous whirlpools I think.

First turn = + + . This hopefully freezes her and you can start blasting with

+ this is where I use 4 critical strike crystals on each - while she's frozen. My pet Hunter jr. has 31 shrieks and room for a Skelly Scroll. If you can get her below half of her health before her frost protection kicks in you may still have a chance. Otherwise it's probably over at this point.

use this when she becomes unfrozen along with a good dark blocker.

throw these in when she's frozen if you believe it'll help later in battle

there's many ways of tackling the Castle. As you know it does a lot of Physical, Light and Earth icons but quite a spread of all the others. I'm using a helmet (to freeze first turn and block 75 Light) and MSH to block 20 Phys and 70 Earth. This usually activates its freeze protection so now is the time to use a Recycle Blaster and Soma Tablets and start using something like a Protector of the Rich scroll, it blocks a little phys and fire while healing. Keep using your two main attackers (whichever ones you choose) and a good healing scroll and hope you don't get frozen.

My lower tier 13 pet just beat him for the 8th time.

Chain freezing is the way to go, and use blasters early if you've got them - I used Recycle Blaster and Soma Tablets first turn he was frozen, and for all but one fight they took out some of his heavier hitters.
