have you tried using the friar hairstyle but layering it under the whiteout or vanishing cream (i forget which one of these blocks out everything but the base, it might cut off some of that extra volume you dont like)

~ yeah, unfortunately it's got a really hard unnatural black outline around the crown of the head so it still just looks off. Thanks for the tip though! I'll try that with some other hairstyles later
