Thanks ! Please post how Spooky goes tomorrow when you let him out.
Spooky is outside playing, he is so happy to finally be able to do so! Mom isn’t to happy about the dirt rolling though. Lol He seems to be staying on the property, pretty close to the house, so that’s good! He’s such a good boy!! <3

- Thinking of you today and hoping you're ok through the day. Lots of love xxxx
so glad he's been able to venture out (but not too far!), but sorry to hear about the extra cleaning duties he's put you on! Did you post a pic of Spooky on the October Cup? If you have, I'll go back and have a look. If not, I'd be interested in seeing this young gentleman.
, By the time you read this you will have been to your granddaughter's wedding. How was it? Did you get the chance to hit the dance floor at the end? Hope the ceremony was beautiful and you had a lovely day/night. :)
I’ll post a picture as soon as the little stinker lets me get a decent one of him ;) <3
I hope everything went beautifully today <3<3 praying for you to stay strong. (((((Huggs)))))

Hi everybody! Hope this finds you having a lovely weekend! It's been quiet here so far, except for the neighbor's calves getting over the fence and into our yard. It happens twice a year -- spring and autumn -- when the babies get a certain size. At that size/weight/height they can jump the fence and always do. They spend a couple of weeks doing this, with us or the neighbor's workers chasing them back over. Then, they grow too big/heavy/tall to jump it and all is well until the next set of calves are born. It's really quite funny to look out and see a calf in my yard drinking out of my birdbath! I don't particularly like the poop in my yard, though.
In Subeta news, the Major was kind to me three times on Saturday! [item2=Giselle Underwater Gurl Shell Bikini]

[item2=Hot Sauce Cinder Chips]
I can't really imagine that the first two will sell, but the chips are hilarious!
Thinking of you and hoping all went well yesterday. (((hugs)))
That's great news about Spooky!
How was the wedding? I'm sure it was beautiful -- you must tell us about it!
Did you have a lovely birthday dinner?
Happy Birthday!

Happy birthday . Hope you have a fun day with family/friends.
. The calves going into your yard over the fence sounds so appealing when you live in the suburbs!....and you get free manure too! :) :) Do you live on a farm? ......Congratulations on your good prizes with the Major! We have Fireside coming up soon so the chips will come in handy for your avatar :)
We are not on a farm, but three of the four pieces of land that surround us are cow farms. I've lived in various rural areas, in the city, and right off Main Street in a small town, and while I like the peace that comes with living in the country, I have to say I really prefer being closer to shops and people. That's largely because I hate to drive, though, and it's 30-60 minutes to get to the store, doctor, my parents, etc, and no access to public transport.
I'm looking forward to my first Fireside, too! :) I love autumn holidays!
Happy birthday, !
Hello Everyone! I'm sorry I missed your birthday . I hope you had a wonderful day dear!
I want to thank all of you for your kind, thoughtful and dear comments. They meant so much to me and helped me to get through. ,, , , , , , , , , , @
Bruce's service was beautiful. My family, pastors and our music group all did a lovely job. There were tears but more humor and laughter, just the way Bruce would want it. Our son stayed on to help me get everything done and changes made which would have been mind boggling for me alone. It's strange to live alone since I've never done it before in my whole life. A heating pad helps at night. Now if I could just teach it to snore! lol
, your town is so beautiful! Looks a lot like little towns here in Texas, but we don't have the snow capped mountains.
@ everyone - sorry I've been so MIA. I had no idea that this ren faire was going to be so time consuming and energy zapping. It takes all of me to get through my work week, and then on the weekends I spend the whole 48 hours doing the faire. With driving 2 hours to get there on Saturday, then an hour and a half to our beds Saturday night, then an hour and a half back out to the faire for Sunday, then 2 hours to get home that night, I have no energy left for anything other than food and sleep and work. Husband has talked me out of working the faire this weekend, though, so I'm thinking we may do a weekend HA Contest.
Will probably start on Friday Night and end mid-day on Sunday so that I can get the judges to tell me who the winners are before Monday when I go back to work, like normal... :P
Here's a really good photo of me that a photographer took last Saturday out in front of the shop I work for:

Thank you . What a beautiful picture of you! ❤
- so pleased to read that Saturday's service for Bruce was beautiful. Also very glad to read that your son stayed on with you to help you out. All those changes can really be overwhelming and upsetting....The heating pad sounds very ingenious! :) .....Very glad that you've been able to come on here to let everyone know how you are going. xxxxxxxxxxxxx and ((((Hugs)))))
. I've tuned in too late and do not know what a ren faire is about, but I can see that it's been extremely time consuming and very far from your home. It seems to be an ongoing faire if your husband has talked you out of going again? I'm guessing it's a big deal if they've employed a photographer for the occasion.
. How is young Spooky healing?
It's the Texas Renaissance Festival.. it's very much like a theme park that is only open for two months out of the year, each year. This is the 45th annual year. This is my first experience working there, though I've worked a much smaller one nearer to my home the past 3 years. I work for one of the shops, it's brand new - The Flying Hun - that sells archery items: historically accurate and competition quality bows, arrows, leather archery goods like quivers and arm guards, and thumb rings (protects your thumb when shooting eastern style draw). The photographers are not hired by the faire, they do it mostly for fun and share their work with us freely. They do make a little money from time to time off of people actually buying prints from them. It's mostly for exposure for them, though. Interesting things to take photos of equals people noticing your services and skills. :)
Happy birthday ! I hope you have wonderful day! :)
Sorry the Ren Faire has been so exhausting for you! That photo is fantastic, though!
So glad Bruce's memorial was lovely and like you wanted it to be. When my husband was on active duty for a few months, I loaded the bed with a lot of large pillows and slept in the middle of the bed, so that I was surrounded; it felt more cozy and warm. It's no replacement, of course, but it might help a bit.
I love the picture of you,Thank You so much for sharing it. Hugsss =)
