My favorite toy as a kid was a small stuffed dog that has a music box inside of it. It plays you are my sunshine. My brothers bought it when my mom went into labor. I named him Rowlf after the dog muppet. He is still with me on my desk right next to me.
My favorite toy was Hunny Bunny. She's a stuffed canvas bunny with floppy ears, and button eyes. Her ears are misshapen as my St. Bernard decided to play tug with her. My Grandpa fixed her up though! My Grandpa Arnie would sew her up constantly. When I moved out, she came with me. She sits in my toy net next to my bed right now. I grabbed her and threw her into the cart when I was 2, and i'm 31 now.

favorite childhood toy, besides the sort of pile of stuffed animals I had (still have somewhere just not in a pile next to my bed) was Robo-Raptor. It was about a foot tall and i treated it like a pet and also battled it against my friend's robo-sapien.
Also, did my dumb science jokes from the first round not win cause others were funnier or because that's not the kind of joke you personally like? I need to know if they're worth keeping in circulation or not cause they're my best ones that aren't specifically only funny to other jewish people

My favorite toy as a child was this little tan kitty stuffed toy. I had plenty of fancy toys but that super basic toy was my favorite. All theses years later, I know I still have it, I just have no idea where lol
My fav childhood toy was a big white stuffed kitty, almost as big as I was when I got it. Most children have such a beloved childhood toy yet this one has a sweet story. I come from a poor family and really didn't have much toys as a child. My mum married for a second time and my stepfather always treated me like his own child. Some days after we moved in with him, he took me to a fair where a raffle ticket booth had this very cat as top prize. He bought some tickets for me yet we only won some candies. So he went to the ticket seller and bought the whole bucket of tickets - and we won the cat! I still have it. <3

I actually still sleep with my fav childhood toy: Wrinkles from Ganz Bros
When I a kid, I wanted a dog. However, my father was in the military and didn't know where he would be deployed so we couldn't have one (until I was 10). Anything and everything dog related was a must... I even had an invisible dog friend. I wasn't into dolls because of their hard bodies; however, I loved plushies since I could sleep with them. One year, a little before my birthday, I went shopping with my father. I saw Wrinkles... last one. I asked to have it for my birthday. My father explained that if I got it, I wouldn't get any other presents (it was expensive). I agreed... we brought it home and I really wanted to play with it. It was still in its box so my parents said I could play with it but I couldn't take it out of it's box until my birthday. I winded up sleeping with the box... so my parents let me take it out early :D Of course, mom made sure I had a few small presents to open for my birthday... but that was the best gift and I still sleep with it more than 30 years later ;)
This one isn't mine but looks the same (although newer) than my Wrinkles... and I named it Wrinkles ;)

My favorite childhood toy was definitely toy was my stuffed dog named Patches. He was spotted and super soft. Slept with him for years. All in all, not super exciting.
But my favorite childhood toys, were my My Little Ponies. When I was growing up, we'd be able to find all sorts of them at garage sales, so my sister and I ended up with a collection of a few hundred. We had our very own Ponyville constructed out of cardboard creations and wood blocks.
Good times indeed.
(Also in your contest post, the trivia prize is a misprint from last week's prize!)
My favorite childhood toy was my stuffed little siamese kitty. I still have it :)
I enjoyed my polly pockets, beanie babies, and marble run but I think my favourite was a post office set.

You had stamps, coins, a scale to weigh parcels, a little bell, a key to unlock the letter box, telephone, stamps and ink pad - I could have fun on my own or involve someone else.
My favorite childhood toy was a Popeye The Sailor Man Music Box . It played the"Popeye The Sailor Man theme song and he jumped out of a spinach when the song was over.

i was five when we came to the USA from Germany leaving all my family and belongings behind. i took with me my doll names Hilda,, i carried her in her dollbed just like his one(she was not a babydoll but a young girl)
doll carrier
i never let go of her as she comforted me greatly through a huge unknown transition, a long story shortened we came on a two year visa during which my mama was too ill to travel so we wound up staying longer.
She made us all matching dresses for her me and Hilda...when i was ten she died. Papa thought the move BACK to Germany was the right one so we went to the "7 mile faire"(like a huge swapmeet)and were told we were to sell everything..to ME this meant Hilda and all her clothes. needless to say she was beautiful and bought up. i clung to her red coat which was my favorite with black velvet around the hood and down the front..cuffs and bottom just like this one...We never did move back but stayed with almost nothing twice in my young life.
red coat

Life went by and i never forgot Hilda..we were in Wisconsin this whole time. Slide forward....moved to Santa Barbara California married ..two girls did the same with their dolls making matching outfits..
Now knowing that she would have been preserved as she was a German made doll.her rich blue eyes closed and she would look left to right depending on how you move her. her tiny toes n fingernails i painted with red polish with cute lil red lips. she had an oval cut behind on her neck from where my brother had broken her and the DOLL DR.in Germany fixed her..she would say MAMA when you tilted her
THen i thought of the internet browsing i do and the many finds i have come up with..i was going to search for Hilda!!
several years of looking for WAY to long and often(my mania kicked in furiously back then). i FOUND her..i swore up n down all the pictures they showed.i communicated my story to the current owners and they said the doll came from an estate sale in Ohio..(NOT TO FAR FROM WISCONSIN).When she arrived a had tears streaming down my face as i saw her black hair(mussed up and no longer in braids..something i would remedy fast) but she had the lil pursed red lips the finger and toenail polish and the back with the broken neck scar was there as well!!! still crying i ran to the closet took out my special memory box and grabbed the red coat i saved all these years...the moment of total truth as it is a very fitted coat...it slipped onto her and snapped shut to a perfect T!!! this was how i got MY favorite toy twice in my lifetime!!
***needless to say i have saved TONS of my girls things due to my experience of loss haahha
whew please excuse the length i got so wrapped up into my story i couldn't make it shorter^ .

My favorite toy was a stuffed monkey I got for my birthday, it went everywhere with me. Besides that I also loved playing with my polly pockets. I still have the monkey and the polly pockets in a box as a memory of those childhood years.

My favorite childhood toy was this thing called a GeoSafari. It’s a pretty obscure toy, but it was basically this electronic thing with a number pad and one button on both the left and right sides. It also had a big slot where you could slide a piece of thick paper, with LED lights on the sides of the slot. It came with a bunch of these papers with different activities on them. On one of them, the GeoSafari would randomly light up an LED beside an animal on the paper and you had to decide if the animal was doing something illegal. If it was you had to press 1, if it wasn’t you pressed 2. It was super fun and I was always frustrated when I got a wrong answer lol. But it was fun, and also educational because most of the papers had educational subjects on them.
Found a picture!
Hmm I think it was a stuffed bear. I don’t have it anymore who knows what happened to it!
sounds like a homeschooling project..but YOU loved it knowing it would boost you up in knowledge as . did you ever look for another one?
