It's a sport, actually! You should look it up C: I've been playing for about 16 years now.

I wish I could work from home! I'm an esthetician so I work at a spa doing manicures/pedicures/facials/waxing, etc.

My birthday was great, thanks! I'm well! It snowed here last night for the first time this season so that's a bit of a bummer.

Working from home definitely has it's ups and downs. Biggest perk is the flexibility to drop off/pick up my children from school, and being able to take what ever days off I need. But my line of work is DRASTICALLY different than yours! Boy, oh boy, I work in pest control! I'm always getting dirty by crawling under houses, climbing dirty rock piles, or kneeling in mud. lol I have a best friend who is my stylist/esthetician, she always makes sure my hair is well maintained and my brows fleeky. ^^

Haha yeah we have polar opposite jobs! How many kiddos do you have?

I have three daughters! They're ages 12, 10, and 4. :) Do you have any children?

Not yet, nope! I have a niece who's 1.5 years. She's too cute!

Children are hard! lol People like to say the hardest part is the money (they're expensive, true..) but the real hard part is raising a future adult with good values/character/integrity/resilience/etc... I'd say even harder so is accepting and embracing "averageness". lol That's the side of parenting most people don't talk about much.

Not sayin' I'm not proud of my kids - just saying there is too much pressure to be "gifted"! lol I mention all of that because you said your niece was just a baby, and it reminded me of when I had my first. All of the tween drama, school grades, and hormonal normalcy that we're going through right now was just so far from my mind when she was 1.5 years old. XD

Gosh, I can only imagine what one must go through with the different stages of with their kids!

I love fall, actually! Which apparently is done here. We're all covered in a blanket of snow.

Definitely wait until you're settled down to have kids, they test your sanity fr. xD
