I'm a PCA (personal care attendant) which means I take care of disabled people. I'm a general purpose assistant, doing whatever a patient needs help with, everything from cooking and laundry to bathing and transfers.
I don't have a job right now but my last job I was a lead cook for a facility that housed adults with mental challenges (high functioning they call it) Lasted about six months before they decided to cut costs and have the housing staff do the cooking.
Found out that none of them even knew how to cook. Oh well..don't wanna do that again.
Cigarettes are just like squirrels; perfectly harmlesss...until you put one in your mouth and light it on fire!
I am a disability support worker who works 1;1 teaching daily living skills. I also do advocate work
I wish I could go back in time..
Used to be mall Security Guard Supervisor with Assistant Director responsibilities. Making salads at a popular chicken fast food chain that's closed on Sundays pays over $3.50 more an hour. shrugs
I am a writer - I write books but also copywriting/ads for various healthcare companies on a freelance basis.
I work at a McDonald's and I have published a book through Amazon
I work in non-profit Social Service as an office assistant. Not a fancy title but I do a lot of different things there.
Honestly, it's the best place I've ever worked. I moved to the mountains of Northern Maine and man, never worked in such a healthy work environment. It still has it's issues, don't get me wrong but it's INCREDIBLE compared to every other job I slaved away at.
I just wish more people with kind hearts would move up here and gets a job at my company. It's suffering shortages of staff. Area is kinda dying which is sad since I do love it here.
that kind of sounds like a dream! did you go to library school for that?
i work at an office where i make wristbands and paper tickets for festivals and events:)
nope I only do the admin parts like working with vendors and paying invoices. No materials selection for me (would need to go to library school for that, which I didn't do).
i am an academic librarian :~) i spend a lot of my time helping students do research
I work in payroll. I spend about half my time doing normal payroll processing things you would expect and the other half analyzing data/improving our reporting.
I'm an IT Manager. I've been a tech nerd since I was young lol
I'm an MA in an orthopedics office. Wasn't what i expected to do but i enjoy it.
