If they're well behaved they don't haha! We put a 15 ft lead on any new dogs to make sure they're actually good off leash before they get to have full freedom. Majority of them go off leash with their owners, so it doesn't take long for me to become the 'fun walker lady' to them, and they know to come when I call them too. I also carry a bag of treats juuuuuust in case (also helps for cute photos).

I actually went to tech school and worked as one for a little bit too. Bit too stressful and overwhelming for me, but it's an interesting job if you can find the right clinic!

Goooooo pharmacy technicians!

I have been a pharmacy technician for 13 years, worked at a big chain for 12 years and then inpatient hospital pharmacy for 1 year, for the past couple of months I have been working from home entering prescriptions for mail order. It’s been a dream!

- I love it too, it’s always entertaining and I love helping people!

It’s a little funny how I fell into this profession, I was a shift manager at Pizza Hut at 22 years old and I had had enough, so I went to Walgreens and applied to literally every position.

It was fated that the pharmacy down the street from the one I applied to hired me (my store was the best!, I had applied to a crazy 24 hour store, so happy I didn’t get stuck there!)

Teaching definitely isn’t for everyone. I have a friend who prefers to teach online because tutoring kids wasn’t for her! I really love it though, myself.

Korea is an amazing place, I didn’t know much about it before moving here but fell in love with the culture, food, style, geography. I’m trying to learn the language but I’m not very good at it! I’d recommend visiting if you ever get the opportunity to!

I work at a daycare as a 'teacher's assistant' - though I simply tell people that I work in childcare.

Definitely the most underrated job and often unappreciative. Hoping by next year to find something a bit different but relevant to the degree I plan to pursue.

I'm a receptionist/concierge at an assisted living home. Not at all what I thought I'd be doing, but I've been here for almost 5 years now. It's not my dream job...but it's a paycheck.

I work in retail as an apparel clerk for a Fred Meyer's store. Most days it's fun, but there are other days where the store is some goddamn busy and I want to jump around and scream because everything just feels so futile. /rant

Anyway. Yeah. Retail work, yay! shaky, uneasy thumbs up

Like [User=Grumpy], I'm a legal assistant.

It pays well given what I do on a daily basis, and there's a great deal of flexibility. I'm just glad my life doesn't revolve around work!

I was a special ed preschool teacher, but became ill and am now a homemaker. I miss working very much; it was my passion and I often feel lost without it, even after five years.

I do cashiering and other stuff, like cutting fabric, part time at a fabric/craft store (JoAnn Fabric) and also do janitorial and front desk jobs (both also part time) at a local contemporary art museum.

Despite all of them being part time, it adds up to well over full time hours.
