A mouse got loose at work today 🙀 I work at a library, and a patron using one of the computers came up to me and said with a grin "there's a literal mouse over there", and sure enough there was.

I ran to get a box to throw over it, but the only thing I could find was the recycling bin. Of course, he'd scooted by the time I got back, and was in the Biography section :P A few hours later, a coworker finally caught him in the bin and we slid an old book sale sign underneath and tossed him outside. I'm really glad we didn't have to resort to setting up a trap.

I know the building has had mice before, but only at night - never saw one in the daytime! This, dear patrons, is why we ask you to stop bringing in food :P

I'm happy that you got the little mouse out of the library without hurting him. I once opened my pots and pan cupboard and there was a little mouse looking up at me from inside of a pot. I picked the pot up and tipped him out, outside. Bruce said now we'd have mice constantly but the little mouse was grateful and I'm sure he told all of his friends to stay out of our house cuz we never saw another one. 😄

Guess I'm going to have to speed this up as our Son and daughter-in-law are going to be visiting for the next 9 days and I won't be able to get on much and in the 10 years I've been in this group, you are all family to me and I love you all so much.
