It's getting late into the month again, I hope the Cash Shop challenger comes out before the end of the month this time. Also, I wonder if we'll get any hints on the theme of next year's challengers. Will we still have NPC Friendly challengers, or will they go back to Throwback? And I'm sure the Cash Shop challengers will have another theme, maybe with another story involving another NPC, like how we had the Wizard this year.

I still think the Friendly challenger for this month will be Aspen, especially if a certain thing that appeared in the directory last week is for said challenger. And for the Cash Shop, it will most likely be holiday-related, but I'm not sure what.

Yeah, I feel only spending EXP is the safest option atm. Anything else has me on edge. On the plus side, I think we can colour our pets again. I tested with Hisui and El, no error.

I'd be down for a theme of zodiacs, either Chinese or the horoscope ones.

Honestly, I don't really care if they never release another challenger ever. 95%+ of challengers are mechanically uninteresting.

They need to fix all the broken mechanics and make battling more than just button mashing. You get almost 90%+ preformance out of any 2 random weapons in a tier.

They need to fix the early game so new people actually pick up the game.

Well I said I'd stop battling because I gave everything away but it seems some force wants me to keep at it even if it's just for loot now...

A few days back I found about 7 or so tier 6 pets in the pound, I adopted 2.... So it seems every time I get out, they keep pulling me back in! :D

Yeah. I'd say T1-4 weapons are mostly a joke, and the few that are good because they scale, well, they're expensive as hell too. I almost never battle with a T1-3 because of this. At least by T4 you get the ability to finally use STS and Gorgun.

You and me are in the same boat apparently. I'm somehow sucked back into battling again atm, but I suppose it's because I'm here to enjoy whatever time is left with the site. Try to get all my little battlers to 13, get Elfric capped, get some weapons off my WL.

I would say 1-9 is pretty much a joke.

There are the staples that you pick up along the way in T1-9, but when you look at actually battling in those tiers there at like 5-7 viable weapons in any given tier, and 2-3 of those are usually the scaling weapons.

With the infrastructure that they have in place, they could fix battling over a long weekend if they put their minds to it. But they haven't made a major change in over 2 years...

reading/intel seems to be fixed. not sure about those affected by ap drain, but its a tentative step in the right direction.

I'm worried about the challengers again now. It's getting late into the month again, and I doubt the first one will be today because of Winter starting so the news will be about that instead. I really don't want the Cash Shop challenger to overrun into next month again, the last one already gave me enough stress, and I also want this one to be done with before the year ends. I hope they know what they're doing...

I was trying to do battle quests and the pages wouldn't open repeatedly. Hours later saw it had opened and I ha d visit from the Tempest, but it was too late and the link had expired. Bummer!

I have a question: I got a and I want to put it on one of my default weapons. My strongest pet is only tier 8, these are the default weapons I have at this time (and can't change because armory is wonky): (already has parched Baguette crystal] (already has 3 singed baguette crystal) (already has fire, physical and magma baguette crystals) (I also have Ice Rose & Reborn Icewand of Doom, with baguettes attached already)

Any suggestions?
