Had such an amazing weekend with the hubby! Got to spend plenty of time with my uncle and Tia, unfortunately, uncle is back in the hospital again :( He had surgery at the beginning of the year and has been in and out of the hospital every since due to an infection around the surgical site that started while he was in the hospital :(

Sorry to hear about your uncle I hope they can get it under control.

hope your uncle heals quickly. If you have access to comfrey, it's known to heal quite well. He could also try true lavender essential oil.

Thank you ladies <3 We spoke to Tia last night and they're testing the infection to make sure they send him home with the right antibiotics this time - though the last time they released him they didn't send him home with anything at all.. sometimes doctors do the bare minimum! Hopefully this is the last hospital visit for a while though <3

The prob with antibiotics is it also kills good bacteria... not the best for tummies. If your uncle can eat yogurt or probiotics it can help recover faster from antibiotics ;)

It's not internal - it's the surgical site, though he does take probiotics daily :) They put the wound vac on yesterday and the doc thinks they were successful in draining. Test results should be back today so they get the antibiotics right. I think it's great that they're taking the time to test this time though and make sure they get the meds right - wish more doctors would do that! It helps cut down on antibiotic resistance...

Off and running, I have a ton to get done today and am super slow because my back has been bugging me lately - it's the weather, all this rain makes the arthritis go crazy :(
