I had a good day today :) I hadn't gone to the grocery store in months & knew it could cause a panic attack... So... I put on my mad hatter hat with an accompanying dress. Some gave me distance (but that's a good thing) and a few went out of their way to tell me how impressed they were. One even asked to take my picture. 😊

I wasn't able to find everything but most things were there. I finally have eggs... I've been out for over a week and I keep getting a craving for an omelet. They no longer have the pizza I adored (gluten-free salmon) so I got a spinach and cheese one that was on special. It's rare I eat pizza that has white flour due to my hypoglycemia. I had a Pepsi from the food bank I had kept. I usually give all gaseous liquids because I become horribly "musical". Tonight I decided to treat myself to pizza and half a Pepsi... belched like an orchestra but it was an enjoyable treat (not the belching). I only ate part of what was on my plate when I got a craving for an apple. I have another 2-3 meals out of the pizza 😊

We got nearly a foot of snow yesterday! Crazy after we've been having warm weather. But that's so typical here lol.

Were you able to go snowshoeing? We've had a mix of warmer & milder weather. Last week we had a hot day where a resident in a bright turquoise bathing suit went sunbathing on the balcony... ironically after I was unfairly accused of issues with "harmonizing the facade" (that they can shove up where the sun don't shine).

Apparently, brains seek carb & junk food to reduce stress. I've been dealing with a lot and still have to but just having a mini-break from it all is good. Last year most of the seedlings I tried to grow died... too many other things to deal with. This year, I wasn't able to start them until yesterday (late in the season) but at least now they've started. I bought expensive lights to help them grow (last year the lights I had were so-so). I'm crossing my fingers the height of the lights will be ok and I'll see how it goes. I'm going to do fewer plants in the garden this year and aim to spend more time in the garden. I really need to force myself to go outside the building more... I can spend weeks without putting a foot outdoors. I'm also going to have to sift through gardening containers I keep putting aside in case I need them for plants... limited space in the apartment & I'm not a garden center :P
