I've got plans to finish work in a few hours, email my new second boss with my schedule for next week, do some chores and then probably take a nap like I've been doing... Not sure why, but I've been having trouble staying awake with my early schedule... It's going to be especially hard when I have to leave one job to go to the other. No time for naps that way!

I am a caregiver and personal assistant for people with disabilities, mobility issues and/or dementia. As of July I’m assigned to one person instead of my usual handful of people a week, a gentleman with muscular dystrophy who needs 24 hour care. We have been short staffed and I’ve been working overtime for two months now, so usually I am a lot more energetic and optimistic about my job but recently I’ve just been exhausted lol. ?

yeah. trying to move forward and away from the low paying position where I do not feel appreciated or valued. It's crazy to be one of the people that feels like one of their best people, but I'm not treated as such...
