I sometimes wish I could handle it because I know that volunteers for that kind of work are few and far between... I'm so glad you're one of the few. <3

Recipe book is a GREAT idea. I always scout around for cookie recipes, muffins, etc. I love making pastry and breakfast. Not the best cook but I can share a thing or two I hope. Can also have a discord channel about cooking and share pictures of what we made.

About politics and money, I feel you. I hate how they do not care about the future, but only about now and how to get richer. But we may feel helpless but we are not. I have been researching a lot about social media influence and honestly, it helps our single voices found a crowd to enhance. I am not familiar with rain forests but I recommend starting with Reddit. 'Meet' people there who feel the same way, and you may find a way to help. You don't need to go on a riot or something, can just talk about it. You are not alone in this, trust me. Now, more then ever, we can make a difference :)

I have volunteered some at a no kill cat shelter. It's similar in a lot of ways except I think cats adapt to living in cages more easily than dogs (not all of them do, but a lot are ok with it, especially since other cats are around to watch and visually interact with in their own cages so it's not as boring as it could be).

It's very rewarding to go in and find that a cat that's been there for several months or even more than a year has finally been adopted and found a home.

Thank you both for volunteering at the shelters, the animals in there definitely need love and kindness. <3 It is so heartbreaking that some animals live their whole lives in the shelter. I wish people would become more responsible when it comes to our furry friends!!

I haven’t been to the DC... Now, it will start being harder and harder to fill the wardrobe. You probably have most of the cheap items. I need to actively work on putting the crap in my wardrobe, but I don’t! Lol

Yeah, I use Subetalodge to tell me what the userprices are in lowest to highest and I keep up with what I have in the wardrobe as I go... so if it's under 30k, I'm 99% sure I have it. :P
