Belated congrats to the winners from last week!

The most memorable (and my most disliked, but I can't REMEMBER any other baby games, so I'm sorry) is melting chocolate candy into diapers and trying to guess the candy.

I don't like it and I'm sorry I brought it up but there you go.

Guess the celebrity baby (can be children of celebrities or baby pics of celebrities) or complete the nursery rhyme are fun ones! The more obscure, the better.

Eek, entering late this time. Hmmm. Baby shower games.

Guess the baby food flavor is always amusing! You have people blindfolded get fed baby food, and hilarity ensues!

We played a game at a wedding shower that could definitely be translated for baby shower. Everyone got a box when they arrived that had like a dozen hershey kisses in it and the rules summed up written on the outside. There was a list of taboo, relevant words. If you caught someone saying one of these words you get one of their candies. For this it was like "bride" and "groom" and a couple others. For baby shower it could be "baby" and "diaper" for example.

Course, one gal couldn't play long cuz she just flat ate all her candy. XD lol Good times.

i definitely had to consult mumma google for this one as i've never been to a baby shower or have really heard of any particular games, but this one sounded funny! it sounds like a weird cross between pictionary and who-am-i...

baby's first portrait give your guests a blank piece of paper/card and a marker then everyone has to hold the card to their foreheads and blindly draw what they think your baby will look like on one side, and put their name on the back of the card. then you get to choose the best and worst drawings as winners.

Thanks for all the suggestions so far! I love the idea of baby blocks being made! Speaks to the creative in me ... but I love all the suggestions. I'm submitting all my favorites to my SIL and mother who are hosting :)

Also, i dont know if I'd call this a "game" but I do love the idea of the change adding up to year born and adding to a piggy bank. I have a little bank already so that would be really fun! And I doubt anyone would mind brining spare change along.

Awww congratulations on your little one!! I'm super late to the game, but I think I found two ideas that could be cute for a baby shower game! One of them might take a little work as it requires baby shirts or onesies and some non-toxic fabric markers or paints; the idea is to give one to each guest so they can decorate them, drawing and writing on it for the baby! Then, the mom needs to guess who decorated each onesie/shirt. I sounded fun when I read about it!

The second one requires pen and paper for the guests: the mom to be can write small sentences for the guests to complete that shows their wishes and predictions for the baby! The place I saw this game at suggested, per example, the sentence 'your parents will be proud of you because......'

honestly the only thing that's coming to mind isnt exactly a game, so much as an activity, but something involving paper dolls, where your guests can all put together little ensembles for baby when they get a little bigger (or you can just include pieces that you've found in baby sizes)

people can mix and match to come up with what they think is cutest, or just a silly chaotic combination for fun

I've never been to a baby shower before but I've heard of a really gross game that involves eating melted chocolate from baby diapers and having to guess what kind of candy bar it is. My favourite baby game is the baby food tasting game. You pick a lot of different baby foods. The weirder the best. Place numbers on the jars, and give everyone paper to write Thier guess, which number is which. Once everyone is done - check how much you got right.

Can I suggest a game NOT to play? Don't put chocolate in diapers and make people sniff/look at it and guess what it is. It's gross and it's not funny and it's gross!! I don't care if this doesn't count I must warn you lmao. I "played" it at a baby shower and it was mortifying. I hope you enjoy your shower, they can be soooo much fun. I love giving gifts to people at showers! <3
