ahhh, i missed some big developments being away, dang! i'm so happy to hear things are still going smoothly though!!
as far as registry stuff goes, i'm certainly no expert, and i know this kind of thing varies a lot by preference and income, but my mum felt really strongly about using cloth diapers when i was a baby. she was able to arrange a diaper cleaning service that came by regularly to exchange dirty ones for clean ones (and in the meantime, if she ran out of clean ones before the service was scheduled to come, she was able to clean them at home pretty effectively, but it was a lot of work for sure!)
either way, i definitely think picking the right diapers is super important, so cloth or otherwise, those should almost certainly be at the top of the list!
other big priorities would be any items involved in nursing, such as a secure sling so you can have your hands free, or a pump and bottles if you don't plan to nurse like that, a sturdy crib, soft blankets...i definitely suggest a pretty mobile, and maybe one of those soft, accordion-type toys that you pull so they play music! i had one hanging from the head of my crib that looked like a giraffe and played a cute little tune. them being soft is good if baby manages to grab on and tug themself too!

wow i had a glo bug toy too! i remember mine glowed but i don't think it ever had a tune as well. it's probably still stashed in with my other childhood stuffed toys~
as for the registry, maybe a washtub and some fun little bath toys?

I like to put my grandbabies down on a soft activity blanket. They aren't good (soon the little ones start to roll off and scurry away) for very long, but they are useful. I sure don't like it when I forget to pick it right up and the dog lays down on it though! LoL
Oh my, I love the Pokeball idea, very cute! I pinged all my Subeta friends to this post, I hope some of them show up to participate in your big giveaway. :) For this week's challenge I would like to remind you to get a diaper genie. IDK what that is and I don't have kids, but I feel like diaper genie may be a thing I'm not making up. I have no idea what that is.
Something I would always want to have on hand is medicine in case something happens. Baby Tylenol definitely!
Wipes, stuffed animals, blankets!! <3

For the registry you absolutely cannot forget the diapers and wipes!! In all sizes too! You need soooo many of those things, and people like to buy cute clothes and things which are nice, but I think diapers and wipes are the most useful things to ask for. I hope you're doing good and the pregnancy is going well :D
Congrats! I just had my second this June so things are still fresh. I use a diaper genie, boppy pillow, diapers, pacifiers, bottles, and wipes daily. Although each baby is different (my daughter never used a pacifier) my son prefers the MAM brand pacifiers and bottles. With my daughter we used Dr. Brown's and while they worked and she used them the MAM are easier to clean by hand. My favorite bib to use in the first few months are Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Comfi-Neck Reversible Baby Bib with Soft Padded Collar. I'd also recommend PJs with zippers at night rather than snaps since it's easier to deal with when you're sleep deprived. Last thing I can think of is gas drops. Gas drops are NOT the same as gripe water. Best wishes for your family :D

Hi all! I will be a couple days late handing out last weeks prizes as I am out of town, but Iβll be home Sunday and will hand them out then! I have not forgotten. Sorry for the delay this week.
I do want to go ahead and post this weeks challenge since it is Friday!

A fun quote... Let's see... It is hard to come up with something funny and not heartwarming. Maybe something like "I exist. Now feed me".
People who say they sleep like a baby usually don't have one.

Going Fishing!!! π
"Let's go exploring!"
It's simple, but lovely. :) It's from Calvin & Hobbes - which really does depict a childhood worth living.

:) Other quotes I've liked are: "They believed they could, and so they did" "Let them sleep, for when they wake they will move mountains" "Of all the things my hands have held, the best by far is you" "Would you like an adventure now, or should we have our tea first?"
Be brave little one
I like it itβs simple and prepares the baby for the world.
my favourite is "the things that make us happy make us wise"
it's from the book little, big and it's my mom's favourite too. i feel like it's both true and kind.
