I'm glad you had a good walk and a special visit from avian friends. I can certainly see how seeing them would give hope! What kind of birds do you have as wild birds in your yard? I'm sure our birds are so different from yours! My favorites to see are the common little Carolina wren. They are not colorful, but oh so sweet! Other favorites of mine are the cardinals, Blue Jays, American Robins, and Downy Woodpeckers. Seeing wild turkeys in the yard is also super cool. This link shows photos of those, and other birds that we see in Tennessee. I'm betting they aren't nearly as colorful as what you see daily!

I was going to dress as another hologram, with as the AI from The Time Machine. Its not possible though. :(

Any of y'all use an air fryer? My husband has become obsessed with the idea again (he wanted one when they first came out but I nixed it because of the cost), now that they are reasonably priced. He's been researching them for days now. I'm tired of hearing cooking videos about them. 😆 So, if any of you have recommendations or good/bad input, I'd be glad to hear it!

Well, he looks great! I see the hologram, now -- my mind is set to the spooky setting this week, so I immediately read it as a ghost.

I've only read the Well's Time Machine, and haven't seen any recent interpretations, so I'm not familiar with the AI, unless it was in the book in a way and I've forgotten (entirely possible).

I refer to the movie version with Guy Pearce. In it he encounters an AI who in the far future is also mistaken for a ghost. I read the story sporadically, but am nearly done.

I would love an air fryer, my electric oven is getting old and I tend to cook or reheat in small batches.

Had time to do all of Thursday's quests, and earned one Morty card for my troubles. Quentin bled me dry, but did reward me with four amulets, so that makes up for it.

Tonight its time to bundle up! We've gotten a cold weather forcast for tomorrow, the first big chill of the year. So instead of working a landscaping job, I'll clean out the wood stove and chop whatever I can for firewood.

How cool does it get in your part of the States? Our average October weather in East Tenneesee is 70° / 49°. December through February can get below freezing, but it's not usually much below that (except last winter when we stayed in the teens for weeks). Frankly, I prefer below freezing to above 85°.

@ Gypsi, Oh yeah Saturday night All Blacks vrs England! It will be a really good game (really hope there is no Dick moves to cause whistle blowing and Cards being slapped on either side) The Roses have been on par with us in (their other games). Top 4 teams play this weekend. Exciting!!
