What are you listening to lately? I just have to make dinner.. other than that I might go for a walk outside. Big brother is on tonight.

I've got She Lies in Wait by Gytha Lodge on my iPod for out of the house, An Infamous Army by Georgette Heyer for housework, and Moving Pictures by Terry Pratchett for in the evening when I'm cross stitching and my husband is gaming. So far, the Lodge mystery is really good! I've read the Pratchett before (we're doing a reread of the Discworld) and it's awesome; the Heyer is an historical fiction which is also enjoyable. Do you read/listen much?

It's still too hot here for much outdoor walking, evening in the evening, sadly, Looking forward to autumn!

I haven't read any of those! I do really like to read though! I'm currently reading a Dan Brown book. Just finished a legal thriller a few days ago called "Nearly Normal Family". Blazed through it in like a week haha!

Where are you that it's so hot? Today was like a throwback to summer, it was HOT, but it's cooled off now.

I'm in East Tennessee, in the Southeastern part of the U.S. It's 90°F/32.2°C right now, and, if I remember correctly, I'm in your time zone. It has been a long loooong summer!

I've not read many legal thrillers, but I really enjoy a domestic suspense/thriller. My favorite most recently is The Girl from the Sea by Shalini Boland. It had such a great twist! I've read a couple by her and enjoyed them. I'm mainly a mystery reader for my audio books, though. They really hold my attention when I'm doing something else. My latest favorite mysteries have been the Ruth Galloway mysteries by Elly Griffiths. I read them from the library and devoured each one in a couple of days!

I'm one month from having what I believe to be enough to pay a semester of tuition. But before I make any serious moves, I'll go over tomorrow to speak with counselors and work out a plan. My primary goal is getting an estimate of the cost. If favorable, I can set things for Fall. Otherwise, I'll continue until Spring.

I'm envious! That's about the perfect temperature as far as I'm concerned!

That's good news! I hope it works out for you to go in the fall, so you can get started on your career!

I may not have to worry about books, my friend who works there tell me about his boss who rents out textbooks.

I should look at this optimistically, my experiences and time spent could allow me to better reintroduce with this idea.

I'll go into auto mechanics, I've spent the last decade doing tbis with my friend. Under his college project, building a replica 2000 Lamborghini Diablo roadster. And a similar amount of time in routine maintenance of his and my cars.

I'd do well having proper credentials. My youngest brother did the same, and is using those skills in that field.

Just got back from the grocery store. I normally go very early in the morning, but circumstance made me have to go in the evening today -- I had forgotten just how crowded it could be! And, to my shock, they were putting out Christmas items! I refuse to decorate until the day after Thanksgiving (last Thursday in November), but I was tolerant with seeing items right after Halloween. BEFORE Halloween, however, is just a bit much!

That's awesome about the textbooks. They are SO expensive. I went back to college seven years ago for some master's work, and was able to get one of them cheaper on Kindle, which was very nice.

Its tragic about my friend, he is unable to indulge in this as much as I can. A few years ago he was found to be sensitive or allergic to automotive chemicals. Lately he 's asked me to undertake some more dirty jobs, while he does any other part.

Ooh, Carl gave me Read it to Midnight Eye, or put it in her treasure?

That's one reason I forsake all holidays. And one radio station here begins playing Christmas music IN NOVEMBER.

When you read this, it will probably be Monday for you, so I wish you all a fantastic day!

Didn't get all of Sunday's quests completed, but I did get a few nice items: Libarian: [item2=Yellow Simnel Cake] [item2=Lilac Simnel Cake]

Drunk Carl: [item2=Surviving Shipwrecks] [item2=Torpedo Ray] [item2=Sea Witch Tome] [item2=Rift Scale Patterned Skirt]

Nice book! Tough decision, though. I can't decide what to do with my two high priced books from yesterday, either.

I love holidays, and celebrate all holidays and birthdays with reckless abandon! 😆 However, I don't decorate for them for long periods of time like some do. Halloween and Christmas decor get displayed far too long in my opinion!

Hello everyone! =) Hope your Monday has been well. I have had a nice day. We went out and got some plants for the balcony. We got a littl round cactus and a little succulent called ‘jellybean succulent’. In addition, we also got some flower seedlings and some seeds. How has everyone else’s been? It is nice to hop onto Subeta to chat to you all.

I hope grocery shopping went well for you! Sounds like a very nice lunch as well. They weren’t exactly sand sculptures, but rather large art sculptures made from stuff like metal and other stuff. Believe or not there was also one made from laundry baskets.. It was interesting! Thanks for the cute Monday picture too! Nice finds!

Just keep on pushing! It’ll always be tough but you make it out. Good news on the tuition! Wishing you the best!

Bought one of the boxes from the Hustler.. “The hustler runs off without giving you anything! I guess you can never really trust a hustler”

Rude! Haha!

Kiss me like you wanna be loved.

The Hustler did that to me once, too! LOL It's not regular, so don't hesitate to buy again.

The sculptures sound amazing! I love unusual art.

I really like succulents, but have never been able to grow them. They die really quickly at my hands!

Haha! I was hoping it wasn’t a regular! But yes, so far he has given me pretty good stuff, including some plushies I didn’t have. Sneaky guy.

Yes! They were awesome. There was a giant fish sculpture and it was made of metal. There was also a giant frog on a rock. I love art, abstract is the best!

Aw haha! I’m sure it wasn’t your fault! The last time I owned cactus the birds pecked at them because I didn’t watch them properly ;-; but succulents are super cute. I’ll see if I can take a nice picture sometime.

Kiss me like you wanna be loved.

Life is precious.
