1.) I think the trash can icons make it seem like you are going to delete an item instead of simply taking it off like the previous x did.
2.) I would love to see the return of the checkboxes that let you move items you have on back to your inventory.
3.) I would SUPER love to see something like this implemented for wigs where you could save color pallets like you can save outfits...

Looks like hitting "wear" on outfits you've saved doesn't load them correctly. The base skin color was not changed from the one I'm currently using to match the one used in the outfit, and neither was the salon hair. :/ Seems some of the base features were rearranged as well? They were all below the base when the outfit was saved, and now the mouth is above the base.

I'm not sure if suggestions can go here or if someone already suggested but...
I think having the option to "lock" items would be great to go with the "remove all" button. There are some items that I almost always use in my HAs and sometimes I want to remove everything BUT them. A option to lock them in place would be useful; Idk if it's possible at all but worth a try.
An hour ago my Items were loading, so I went to the grocery store and came back. Still loading. Also while my HA items are in correct order in W3 they they show reversed on the HA in W4. My HA shows fine in my sidebar and at the side of my posts however.
I reloaded my items and they came out right away, but item order is still reversed.
Well, it seems nice to update the coding (and I love the new wardrobe). I just hope that things will be really that fluid as Laravel states (I didn't visit a website with such coding so far, I think) and not lag like our current system of whole-page-load (which I quite like and am used to since all the petsites I play use it), because for some events we might miss something or skip a dialogue if we think like "oh, nothing changed" and click again in a "next" button, so due to a delay loading things it just skips the next dialogue -- but there's always an option, like the stretchable-spoiler-like text we had last year during the Moro plot.
But yeah, I do understand that Subeta might be the largest petsite currently (in terms of items, pages and lore I'm 100% sure it passed its main concurrent already) and a code upgrade its really needed, so I hope it goes well :3
there's a little "reverse / unreverse" button (looks like some horizontal lines with an arrow that switches from up to down when you click it) but it doesn't seem to appear consistently.
where does it live? Is it on the items page? On top of or beside the items list?
couldn't post a screenshot before because the wardrobe stopped loading for me for a bit there, but it's working again so here you go. the button appears to the right of the items page navigation. when the arrow points up, the order is ascending (oldest to newest) and when the arrow points down, the order is descending (newest to oldest). clicking the icon toggles between the two.

aha this is a new feature that replaces one of the boxes. This isn't what's happening to me. The reversing of the order of items is not my general list of items-owned, but the items on my HA. So the stuff I have stashed below my backdrop like my Doctor's Mask and my Shrunken Heads Pendant, those are now above it in layer order. The stuff I have above my base like eyes and mouth are now below it in layer order.
Good:
-I really like the idea of adding whimsy to pages.
Like the loading bouncing-ball guy.
It's a big improvement over not having a loading bouncing-ball guy.
-It loads Avatar <10s on each browser I've got installed. -It loads up my item section (15000+ items) <30s. And, that's pretty acceptable to me, with my garbage internet. ha. -The item previews load a LOT faster than the older one does, so that's all pretty great.
Bad: "Using our brand colors" ...what are subeta's brand colors exactly? I would have guessed kumos colors (various shades of light blue), because you guys seem to use those (the pet, not colors) a lot.
Are they those blue/green colors that are currency in use on that page? I can't really tell the difference between them. I can just barely see the "previous" and "next" text on those buttons, unless I highlight them. (the 2's not exactly easy to see either.)
There're context clues that there's something there / they do something, and I am also used to the way that the old wardrobe is set up.
Pulled it up on my phone too, just in case it was an issue with my laptop screen's color, but I have the same problem. :p (but there is a good chance that it's a me issue, not a we issue; I have color deficiency issues and, as long as we can edit it, it'll be fine / I know how the page works anyway / etc.).
However, I suppose that the page # buttons are a little easier to see/read, as the bg color is a bit darker. Would it be possible to use the color on the page # buttons for the "previous" and "next"? It's not ideal, but a bit better.
On Base, it's not letting me swap the sex of the avatar. I click the radio button and it doesn't work? Oh! I had to click the word? Ok, figured that out. My issue is that the item preview was actually hovering over the button, but, since the item was transparent, it took me a minute to realize what the issue was. If I zoom out, no more issue. It's just screen size & user error. ha.
On Skins: hey, last stage zombie skins. Spoilers. :( But. I would really like to have the words back on each skin. I do not know the names that well and it makes it easier to keep track if I have unlocked a skin. (yes, I know that they are faded if I don't have it, but I do not know the names to easily compare to my list, as I can just ctrl+F to check.) Or, would it be possible to sort the skins at some point by type? (achievement(?), zapper, zombie)
& I have the same "item loaded backwards on the avatar" (that is, base things are at the top and my clothing at the bottom) issue as Solsticesprite. New items are added at the top. ha. But, I'm guessing that might be a temp error.
Temporarily taken offline. Will be back soon. Sorry for any inconvenience!

no it's not just you, the teal on blue is hard to read unless you're looking closely / have good screen contrast. i kind of figured those weren't going to be the final colors, just what they defaulted to based on whatever existing css styles they're pulling from.
Good to know! Avel was the only other user who I noticed pointed out issues with reading the buttons, so I just thought that I'd bring it up again, what with this being for feedback about the page.
Also really wanted to mention it after seeing the idea of 'brand colors' because, if the default for buttons ended up being like that, I couldn't read them. haha. The main reason that I knew to even look for words on the prev and next button is because I'm already familiar with the wardrobe and presumed there were words on the new one too.
Question... Will the colour matching option be back on the new version? I really miss that ;)
Currently 1) HA worn items reversing order (bottom should be top and vice versa) 2) no saved outfits showing up at all 3) can't find "wear on site" button at all
Hey everyone! I've just updated our tracking page for the work that I'm doing on the wardrobe.
Today came with a pretty heavy rewrite to prepare for the future, and I made the todo into a kanban board so that you can see the progress on various things, and I'll continue adding notes from here as well.
One of the things that I fixed was the avatar loading backwards today. I'm still rewriting the pages but they should be back again soon.

btw "manual work" means coding? Arvee's So Fetch color assignment was done by code, as an fyi (no one sat and did color assignments for each item)
