Heya everyone! ♥
My name is, obviously, Christine, but I also go by Chrissie! I'm 28 and currently work two jobs. One is in admin and the other is part time as a barista. I've been playing subeta for 10 years? I've had many a username change and multiple hiatuses. haha. I spend most of my time working on HA's and my pets.
I mostly play mmorps on pc, because I'm awful as using my ps4 controller. Currently I'm addicted Aura Kingdom, and Guild Wars 2, but I also have played/play WoW, Tera, BDO, ESO, FFXIV, Detiny 2, andddd I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting one? Anyhoo, if anyone ever wants to do some grinding on AK or meta events on GW2, feel free to hmu! Or just run around in general. haha
Hope you're all having a wonderful day!
hey christine, welcome (again) to press start, we're so happy you joined! you gotta join us to play GW2 some time, we have a bunch of people who play it!
Welcome, welcome!!
I love your forum image - it's so cute!! We have a number of people who play Guild Wars (myself included!), definitely ping me if you want to play sometime! :) I think there's a few people that play WoW and Tera as well!
Hi everyone,
Here is my official "introduction" into the group, and I'm so excited to be here! I've been eyeing the group for a while for having such a dynamic and friendly environment to talk about different games on and off of the site. A few of my favorite games that I enjoy to play when I get a chance are: Sims 4, Bioshock, Elder Scrolls (Oblivion and Skyrim), Borderlands, Fable, and America McGee's Alice in Wonderland. These are my top games that I always end up coming back to and I really enjoy playing!
I hope to see you guys on discord on the site for events!

Art by hi hi, sorry it took a while to get back to this, glad you joined though! which bioshock game is your favourite?
I know we talked a bit about this, but I think my favourite is the OG, first Bioshock. I do really like the second well also, however, I have never played the third. I think perhaps because it's so far off from the concept of the first two that I'm just not interested in them.
Which one do you like the best?

I'm Diego from Brazil. I wanted to join the group for a while, and finally I'm here!
My favorite games are offline, I don't enjoy the pay2win aspect of most online games and/or the monotony I feel after playing games like battle royales or MOBAs for a week or two. Lately I've been playing Cuphead on PC and Honkai Impact 3rd on my phone (that's an online game with pay2win aspects but I'm addicted because it has at least over 20 game modes and I don't feel stuck if I don't pay). My least favorite kinds of games are FPS and horror.
I also love the Portal franchise, they're my favorite games overall... I'm also a sucker for (S)NES, a fan of the Mario franchise (mainly Super Mario World and 3D World), Adventure Island (mainly the 3rd one)... And I play games from my childhood from time to time, like the arcade ones (TKoF, Mortal Kombat...), Crash Bandicoot and Crash Team Racing etc.
If I'm going online, I do it to chill and relax with simple games like Transformice - which I rarely come back to play -, Pictionary and... I guess it's called "Stop!" in English? (the game where a random letter is drawn and people have to write words in different categories such as name, color, movies, cars...). No, I'm not weird at all, you are x'D
See you on discord and in future events!
welcome welcome welcome! i agree pay2win games aren't great, takes all the fun and competition out. do you have a favourite mario kart? have you ever played super mario 64?
welcome again! My mom is in Brazil for work right now (Sao Paula I think). I hope you find yourself at home here
thanks. Yup, pay2win kills the fun for me x___x And I love mario kart 64 and 8; I didn't play the super mario 64 a lot, though, but I remember it felt really great because it had a horizontally 3D movements
thanks again xD oh, São Paulo is great, I want to live there sometime, I just love big cities and having stuff to do during weekends :3
i wish they had mario kart on steam (literally Any version) so us mario fans could all play together lsdkghsd 64 is my favourite! terrifying though, literally can't play it alone at night slkdghsdlkg
@ ALIEN yeah... It's such a bummer that these kinds of games don't have online versions. Haha why does it scare you? I used to play it a lot a couple of years ago with a bunch of friends, a mini tournament with... hm.. a bit of alcohol, of course xD
Hello, guys. My name is Ina, and I just joined. I have been a gamer for a very long time, I do not remember time when I was not. I play all sorts of games - from video games, to tabletops and pen and paper RPGs. I love co-op games mainly, followed by time management games and mystery story-driven games. My top favourite video games are XCOM 2 and Borderlands 2. I am a programmer, but I have a lot of hobbies that I acquired in the years to rest from my job - writing, drawing, cooking, nothing professional. On discord I am Ina Box () and if you have any questions feel free to hit me up. I am a very open-minded person, so don't worry to ask anything that is on your mind.
Edit: I forgot to mention, I am Bulgarian.
welcome Ina!! I love to cook as well, and I draw (mostly CWs nowadays) for hobbies. Which tabletop/RPGs do you play?
I am not good enough for CW, I do mostly pencil scribbles. :D
Right now I am in two D&D sessions, one that lasted for years and one that is Adventure League's rules. Maybe not my favorite system but a lot of resources and people to play with.
My favourite tabletop is definitely hands-down Lords of Waterdeep, but I never back down for any other tabletop game, as I try to play as many as possible.
What about you, Stakely?
I'll be honest, I've never played D&D before but my husband has (before he met me) and he has tons of books and stuff. One day I'll play/learn! I've played Vampire the masquerade but not the tabletop version but rather the LARP. That was pretty fun.
We've grown our tabletop game collection over the past couple years, I like a lot of the kickstarter ones that end up coming out, Sushi Go Party, Herbaceous is really fun, Azul is always pretty and fun to play. I don't think I have a favorite because we have so many. I've never played Lord of Waterdeep, I'll give that one a look!! The Villains game was pretty fun but man did that game last FOREVER. I think we had 5 players and we played for hours for one single game.
It is my boyfriend that got me into it. If you find a group it is a nice time off the computer (at least for me). I am not a fan of LARP-ing myself, but I have played New World of Darkeness and I find it hard to get into character =D I can see it being better in LARP.
From all these tabletop titles you listed, I have not heard of "The Villains". I highly recommend Lords of Waterdeep. There is an app as well, but it is better on table. Can be played by two people :)
it's actually a Disney table top. It's not bad, but there's definitely an advantage if you've played it before and know what each villain does.
I'll check it out for sure! Phone apps are great
