Hello! I realized I never posted an intro on this new thread, so I figured why not? I'm Tali! But you can also call me by my rn Maria :)

I've recently been horribly inactive, but that isn't on purpose! Early March my Microsoft account got hacked (rip) and this hacker removed my email address, phone number, etc. And well basically, I'm completely locked out of my Microsoft account. My sign in to get onto my computer is linked up with my Microsoft account sooooo essentially, I've been unable to log onto my laptop to get onto Subeta (just used my husband's login today so that I could get on the computer lol). Also customer support has been of no help to help me link up my Xbox info with a new account :c

BUT ANYWAY. I play Xbox (haven't in a month, I need to get on Microsoft customer support again), a little PlayStation, and Nintendo. Some games I love include Destiny, Mass Effect, Overwatch, about anything Mario-related, Legend of Zelda, Pokemon, etc.
I adore corgis and dinosaurs. Jake is my tricolor corgi and he's essentially my child (I mean the dude's favorite toys are his dinosaur Nylabones. I'm a proud momma).

I also like to chat so feel free to reach out to me! And send me good vibes with getting customer support to help me get my Microsoft account back. I miss playing Xbox lol.

I love fallout. I used to play fallout 3, NV and 4 all the time. It’s known for being super glitchy though. The minutemen quests stopped working for me so I can’t really level my character anymore but then I never started a new game with another character. My favorite is still fallout 3 GotY edition. I highly recommend picking that up.

I would go with Skyrim instead of no man’s sky. No man’s sky is super repetitive I hear, just farming for materials and searching for new creatures to catalogue. It becomes a little more fun if you have friends to play with. I would go with a game like sea of thieves instead of no man’s sky if you want a game to play with friends.

If you care about storyline for resident evil, I would pick up the remake they did of the first game, then RE2 remake that just came out, then RE 3 nemesis back from 2000, then CV and then RE4. The controls from the remake and RE3 are super clunky and the camera angles are frustrating. If you think you will be scared (especially with things like crimson heads running after you and you can’t even see them because of the stupid camera angle - seriously why do I need to look at myself getting attacked by the enemies off screen) then I would find the original directors cut for resident evil. The cutscenes are super cheesy and the graphics are so terrible all you have to worry about are the spooky noises.

If story line doesn’t matter, I would jump straight into RE 4, it’s a fantastic game. RE 5 can be fun if you play with a friend. I didn’t find it scary at all but single player is annoying AF since the AI for your partner is terrible.

i've been hearing a lot about Fallout 4 and i wish i could play it. i never played any of the Fallout games tbh, but the Fallout 4 hype is making me want to play it so bad aaaaaa. i hope it's fun!

AS FOR RESIDENT EVIL 1, 2, 3 and Code Veronica are all really scary. i had to take long breaks before finally managing to clear 3 and Code Veronica because my heart would start racing at some point. but they're super good because of all the story, you get to know a lot about the different viruses and how the characters are involved, their roles etc. not to mention i'm a big fan of the puzzles omg.

Resident Evil 4 isn't that scary, but it is, and it's my absolute fave Resident Evil game. i love it just so much. ;A; the story kinda strays away because of a completely new type of Virus but at least we get to see familiar faces and it's just so much fun to play. Resident Evil 5 is amazing, it's just so good to play, and it isn't scary at all. i'm gonna have to second Steph's statement tho and recommend that you play it with a friend if possible, the AI is the absolute worst LMAO. and if you get yourself the Gold Edition there are so many extras (MORE COSTUMES AAAA).

Resident Evil 6 is my second favorite. it's also not scary (RE4, 5 and 6 are nerve wrecking honestly because of some parts) but it's the absolute best, gameplay and controls wise. not to mention the graphics are beautiful oh god. and they brought back so many characters???? we even got to see someone that was a child during RE2 and becomes a playable character, with a whole campaign dedicated to them (RE6 has 4 main campaigns LOL).

the story and plot of all Resident Evil games are amazing, i recommend them a lot! ❤️ just ignore RE Operation Raccoon City because that shit smells imo LOL i hated it. if you ever get to play them, let us know, i'm also going to do my best to help you with it. ❤️

hiii! n_n nope, I haven't touched FO76 because not a fan of multiplayer and the reviews were kind of abysmal for it? :0 People were calling FO4 a masterpiece when we all know FO4 got some pretty crappy feedback. Have you played it? Interested to know what you think of it!

well, that's kind of reassuring then for RE! :3 Acclimate myself with crappy graphics and then eventually play Biohazard like a pro. :P Aw, you would hope AI would do a better job if someone is friendless. :C

I like the concept of No Man's Sky, I'm not sure if I would find it repetitive or not, but it's an interesting hypothesis to have. One day when it's on sale.

Re: fallout 4, I got a glitch where I was in power armour and in the Museum of Freedom's upper floor and I got stuck between the ceiling and rubble on the floor, couldn't get out, had stopped to save there, sadly wasted a few bullets trying to shoot / hit my way out, something eventually worked but that minute was scarier than anything I've met so far in fo4! xD

HI YOU CHANGED YOUR NAME AGAIN, I SEE!! It's okayyyy, try fallout 4, I haven't played any of the other fallout games either and don't find fo4 confusing story-wise since it isn't a direct sequel/prequel of previous games when it comes to protagonists. It probably hand-holds me more than I think earlier fallout games do with the VATS screen for shooting enemies.

But are RE 1, 2, 3, Code Veronica difficult for a PC gaming newbie? T_T When I get panicked, I run around aimlessly shooting so that might be an issue. Thank you for the offer, I will develop my lame PC gaming skills and let you know when I think I have advanced enough to try a RE game. ;D It sounds like RE has an amazing story and gameplay and I'm more keen to try it.

I guess it’s because they are not used to making two player games? I always play as Chris (unless I’m playing with a buddy) so I make Sheva my pack mule. She’s always picking up shit I don’t want or using valuable full heal herbs when I don’t want to use them yet or combining the wrong herbs like two greens instead of waiting for a red. And omg does she waste ammo. I will usually just give her the high capacity handgun and let her carry my shotgun and rifle rounds so she can’t waste hard to find ammo or pick up random crap.

Also don’t play RE gaiden, any of the outbreaks, revelations, umbrella corps, umbrella chronicles/darkside chronicles and survivor. None of them are important to the main story and the games suck. RE0 is also pointless, I just played it for the wesker cutscenes and you can play as him after you beat the game once but who would want to play it again anyway. Chronicles can be fun though if you like onrail shooters.

I’ll probably get a lot of debate for this from newer RE gamer fans, but I hated RE6 and personally think it’s not worth playing. It was bad enough they did a terrible ending for RE5 then they had to make a terrible game with RE6. All RE storylines are filled with plot holes but this game has the worst by far. Also don’t play without a buddy because of stupid AI.

Revelations 2 although the story isn’t really necessary to the main plot, it does fill some of the gaps. It’s also a very playable game. Your companion AI is a lot better because they made your AI companion controls more like Ellie from Last of Us.

Actually go play last of us, it’s a fantastic game and better xD

I had high hopes for no man’s sky but then I saw the gameplay and was disappointed. It had so much potential but things that still need to be fixed imo.

Luckily I have all the perks I want before I could find more quests to keep leveling. I have the perk that knocks over enemies when you rush them and the explosion on impact when you use the jet pack on the power armor. Really useful at stunning deathclaws.

The reason i didn’t start a new game with a new character is because I didn’t want to have to create communities all over again. It took a lot of time and resources to get the number of settlements I have and settlement building is not what I play fallout x.x

I played it because I loved prior FO games and it gave me a way to play a bethesda game with my hubby! Of course it got a lot of flack and it has had it's issues (I played for a month or two and haven't played since they've made a lot of changes and fixes) but I enjoyed it when I did play it. I'm not super hardcore critic when it comes to games so while I did see some of the common complaints, a lot of it didn't bother me much. I think it's worth playing if you can catch it on a steep sale if you like multiplayer and have someone to play with. If not then it's an easy pass!

you can do it! i watched a let's play of resident evil.. i want to say it was 7? not the most recent one but the one before that (wow eloquent) probably. it was fun and it's actually a lot better when you can look away and still have the game progress 😂 so happy you like mucha too! his work is incredible. i actually visited prague to see it, would strongly recommend if you haven't yet and ever get the opportunity!

I heard so many good things about the last of us but it's on PS and I have a PC and 3DS. Fail. xD I heard they added so many multiplayer stuff to No Man's Sky? Might be worth checking out now? I can't wait to level up more in fallout so I can claim more perks. I feel so squishy right now and not doing well with bullet management. :l Getting into water purification but limited by copper ugh and getting minute amounts off Trashcan Carla. This is going to be slooooow. Yeah, haven't played long but so far, the settlers are pissing me off lol especially Preston.

The getting random perks bit sounded interesting albeit annoying. But yeah, if you got something out of it then it sounds like it did its job. :3

they had a temporary exhibition of his works when I visited Italy which was super random but it really got me into Mucha; his Slav Epic is so atmospheric and unreal! <3 I even recently got a coloring book of his more famous stuff even though I'm not into colouring because it looked too good to pass up!

Maybe they added a lot of content since the last I saw gameplay? I would wait for it to go on sale so you don’t regret buying it if it’s still boring.

I wish they had better armor instead of just power armor. Last I remember I had most of the best regular pieces of armor in the game when you use the ballistics fiber and have the armor upgrade perk (forgot the name it’s been that long)

I’m pissed at Preston because it’s his infinite stupid quest that’s broken. I had a weird glitch where he asked me to do two different missions that required me to talk to the same person and now the person won’t talk to me for the other quest. I do have a save like an hour before all this happened. I did a lot on that hour but it’s been so long I don’t even remember so maybe I will just reload it.

What faction/(s) are you working with to complete the main storyline? I already beat the main game helping the minutemen but I have a save that lets me team up with the brotherhood instead. That was great to watch liberty prime back in action xD

eeeee welcome to press start!!! I'm so happy to see you here! I agree with what and said, for sure. But I would also like to suggest resident evil 0. The story is great, it's spooky like 1-4 and is just really good lol. Billy is the best, he's really sarcastic and goes well with Rebecca's softer personality. There are a lot of enemies in that game. Lots of variation. 5 is one of my favorite games ever. It's not scary like the others. More of a shooter. I usually play as Sheva and have Chris as my partner. And the ai is kind of funky lol.

I would suggest getting the first one to get a feel for the horror. And the controls. Lol. In always here for help or just to talk about it to! It's such a good franchise.
