That is too funny! Sorry about the snow though. I always say winter would be great if it wasn't for the cold, snow and ice. Scares me silly to drive in it.

, nope there isn't anyone to clean the snow off our car but so far it hasn't been very cold or snowed very much. If it gets so we can't do it, we will either hire someone or just take the resident bus to shop or keep appointments. So far it's good exercise. There are only two other residence who have a car. They both store their cars at a relatives for the winter. That's another option. 😄

3AntBad, It's nice to have a car in the other seasons if you just want to feel free to take a drive but it isn't too sensible with the price of gas and insurance and up keep. So we'll see.

Do you have a lot of things within walkable distance? That's my goal, whenever we get to the empty-nester level. Who knows when that will be. 😆 Years and years away at this point.

No , there is nothing within walking distance at this point. We use to walk this distance to shop but we can't any more. Bruce uses a walker. I'm still steady on my feet but I tire quite easily now. I walk inside up and down the halls and up and down the flight of stairs inside now. Was walking outside in the nice weather but too afraid of slipping on a patch of ice now. 😄 I'm with you on the items you don't want to see here and . I delete them when I can. I know that doesn't do any good but it's satisfying. 😆

I've been thinking about trying to do art again. I've been in kind of a creative funk lately. I used to do all this work with yarn and fiber, but I've not wanted to pick it up at all lately. 😕 I have all the canvas and paint, and I want to start drawing again.

Well... I am going home tomorrow. All tests are ok and my surgery (gastric bypass, in October) looks good from the inside (they thought something was wrong) I have to go back to liquid/soft foods for a while and I have to see a dietician to make sure I get enough good foods/fluids. And be back next month for a check up.

glad you are going home! Glad your surgery stuff is looking ok. I hear that is a hard one to adjust to. Glad that you're able to see a dietician and all that, also. :) Hope you start feeling better really soon!!
