find the extra water damage helps specially near the end. I also like to use the Forj Tempered Shield for an extra icon block. May wanna remove the helm as you can't freeze him.

Cobalt scrolls and Perilous Whirlpools (for water icons) might help?

Anything that does a lot of light and water damage will be very helpful, cause you wanna do as much damage each turn as you physically can.

No idea sadly I never used them. I mostly used Prodigy Staff or Trident + Syringe for the water damage.

I think that was only awarded to those that unlocked all the challengers before the cabinet was released, but after it was officially released you could only get it by buying it. But my brain is mixing things up today, and I had bought/unlocked them all before it was released so didn't have to pay too much attention. o-o

Well, once your pet is capped (I'm at 34,998) and you are figuring out the right build, trying different builds, what I'll probably do is leech 1000 stat from somewhere... defense maybe... then I'll get 1000 STR all at one swoop. So, I do my battle quests and just sit on it for my main battle pet. With the mage amulets I have in my vault, I will use that on my second battle pet once I see how many tomes the Mage will give me. BQing is just something to do on a daily basis, if I skip a few days, no big deal.

Oh yeah, the only stat I can work on is Level and Intel... fun ones...

I seem to hoard EXP too..mostly because sometimes I am at a loss as to how to use it.

I received the Research File Cabinet last year after unlocking the rest of the 2013 challengers I was missing, and that was after the battle reset so I don't think it's related to that.

If you're sure you have all 12 of the challengers unlocked but you didn't receive it by visiting the Coliseum, then I would recommend filing a ticket to see if you can get the item and report that it's not working so it can be looked into. :)
