I also wanted to ask... which boosters are worth it the most from the Battle Shop? Should I downgrade my tokens to EASY, or is it better to downgrade them to HARD? And is there a particular potion that's best to spend the tokens on?

Easy - Impenetrable Force Potion, Limitless Endurance Potion, Potion of Fleetness, Spiraling Ascension Potion, Surging Power Potion Hard - Frozen Froth, Mixed Blessing Potion

I'm assuming Hard, but not sure which of both would be best to gamble, or if it's best to gamble at a particular one from the EASY category and hope you don't get 0, but seeking advice from experts in the field ^^

They didn't release the 2nd Effigy right? I'm not crazy, I'm pretty sure there were 2 of them and one was during Fireside and was more difficult..

No, you're not crazy- the only challenger that was released was Bandit. :/

We're not sure if the lack of Cranky Carrot and the Effigy was due to holiday oversight though. No one on staff has commented. The carrot hasn't been back in 2 years now, and previously the Effigy was kind of a staple.

oh right there is also the carrot, I hope they will release them today or tomorrow as a last moment challengers.. I was washing dishes and I was like “oh but what about this second effigy?” Lol

in general Fireside was kinda empty this year, I guess they had to kill one holiday and make server fixes for the good of other holiday..

Who do you think will be next month's Friendly Thursday, and what might their fear turn out to be?

Also, do you think this will continue next year or move on to something different? I've enjoyed learning more about these NPCs even if I don't battle that much because my pet doesn't have nearly enough stats and I can't be bothered to spend a lot of time or money to give them more. But there are some NPCs I would like to learn more about through this. Maybe they'll still do Friendly Thursday next year, but have the Cash Shop challenger be based on something else to do with them instead of fears?

This has been a great year with the Friendly Thursday challengers, but honestly I'd love to go back to Throwback Thursday and take a shot at challengers I couldn't take on previously. That would let them alternate each year so we don't go through all the NPCs at once.

Unless there's something entirely new planned for 2019.

Anyway, I've got my fingers crossed for Charity in December because I've got a bone to pick with her...

I noticed that most of the Friendly Thursday challengers this year are Shop NPCs (Or Holiday NPCs that run shops during their holiday), with only one of them being different (A game NPC). So I'm wondering if next month will be a game or other NPC...
