New toy to play with. T6, base stats 15 phys, 18-25 light, block 4-5 dark, 4-5 earth, 3 mod slots. Boosts strength by 25 each turn.

Might scale once it boosts high enough, still testing. Up to +800 strength over several turns and no difference, no secondary attack.

Maybe not but I am just trying to be hopeful. [edit] Just tested the bow with a pet hat has 5100+ strength.

Used it twice though the battles were short.

First battle: 15 physical 20 light Blocked 4 earth and dark No heal

Second battle: 15 physical 19 light Blocked 4 earth and dark No heal [edit] Tested a longer battle.

15 physical constant 18-25 light Block 4-5 earth and dark No heal and no curse or blessing either from what I have seen. [edit] Tried with tier 9 got the same results.

Hm... I'm starting to think this one is effectively a dud. 37 turns, no change. And Kil has 10k base strength, so maybe it needs a different stat build? Going to try pairing it up with Malhuili for a bit since I only tried one turn before this. EDIT: No improvement, alas. Once Dolk is big enough they might get some use out of this one, don't see it being helpful for Sun or Kil.

The strength boost is nice for lower pets I suppose, but yeah, I'll not get any use out of the new bow. Looks nice though.

It can actually handle Pete and Nightshade at T3. I didn't realize how much faster a high health build is for progression (at least with money and an armory to back it up with good weapons and scrolls...). It'll still probably have the Angrybeard speed bump, and trouble with the difficulty jump from level 15 to 16 though.

..And probably with a bunch more intellect to equip blocking scrolls/GotF it could probably take out Teef at level 15. Huh. Maybe once the site lag reliably goes away I'll go read a bunch more books to it.

Don't think I've made it thru bqs yet this month. Don't have much time because of stupid RL, and the lag makes it hard to do anything more than basic dailies. Hope it gets better.

Hmm....new weapons all of a sudden lately...well, we know we've got the Secluded Women this month for our challenger, and Reischen somehow possibly too. Considering battling hardly gets much love, I'm impressed to see new weapons at all (even though they appear to suck garbage so far).

Just that if there is some correlation to strange stat builds in order to make these weapons worthwhile, it might be awhile unless the BAs come out and blatantly tell us.

I could be wrong though. I'm not a weapons expert and there are probably a few better weapons at T6 for those pets.

i know there's issues with auto training, but is anyone having problems with regular training? i want to put the boys in, but not if it means more tickets e/ saw the posts on the last page... guess i can wait on training a while longer.

Mmm sadly I only have a tier 12 and 9 to test with, my other two pets are still in training and not even close to tier 6. Maybe the bow is still being tweaked? If they added a heal to it, it could be a bit more viable, in my opinion.

I tested the with these: Because they each boost their own thing each turn. Nothing special.

I am so done with the lackluster weapon releases as of late......

We're overdue for something that is really useful. Real talk, I wouldn't hate the Shattered Rift Blade if it didn't cause self harm. It'd be overpriced and the "blessing" would still be shit, but it may very well come in handy on more specific opponents. But the self-harming aspect of it shot it down from "overpriced" to "overpriced and kinda shit."

I got to use it with my T6 and I do like it for that tier. The strength boost was nice for doing more damage to Mechalag each turn. Not sure if it's a must have, but you can do a lot worse and if you have crystals you're not doing anything with, why not. Again, I'm not a weapon expert. My favourite T5 weapons are Massaquerade with Ol Blue. :)

And speaking of battling today, it was nice that there wasn't a lot of lag. I got to get in some work with my lower tier pets and now they're each out of opponents until they get stronger.
