I'm not sure who made the decision to nerf the hell out of Chronocrone but uh.. why now? It's pretty unfair to make a challenger so much easier when people were already dropping big bucks for that book she drops.

I'm not personally affected, as I sold the book, but it seems very random to change her around now, esp after I know people bought csc to pay for book loot... :/ Ofc it was their choice to do so at the time, but I think theres an expectation that challengers wont randomly get nerfed a month after release, making their loot a lot less valuable.

Was she nerfed? I was beating her only yesterday (or maybe the day before yesterday, I can't recall the exact date between the two, just remember that it's very recent) and she was still as random as heck.

:3 Don't get me wrong, that 1 win was difficult to get, but nice to know she's doable now. Probably won't be able to get to 5 wins currently. For Chron, you probably only need a high T12 (and the right weapons, like MW and Trident.)

On average, her healing went from a semi consistent 10k to barely 500 hp a turn, so yeah, a huge nerf.

Yeah, she was indeed nerfed. Just got my fourth win, which was as easy as a piece of cake. I wonder too why she was nerfed a month after release.

I don't understand the nerf either, but I just got my ten wins against her so I'm pretty happy about it. Sorry for those who bought her drops though, they'll deflate quite a bit now she's actually beatable.

Awwww! She's no fun anymore. I went from barely being able to beat her with a rank 170 pet to just whacking away on her with a rank 500 pet. I kinda like the idea of having a super impossible challenger once in a great while.

Yeah, don't get me wrong or anything, she was a stupid challenger and I did not like how she was created, but.. she was created that way. She was that way for over a month. It's pretty unfair to change her like this (completely removing her heal, making it so that maybe a t11 could beat her x5 when you basically needed a t13 before) when people have already sold/bought her loot. There was nothing really wrong w her, theres no problem w having a very difficult opponent. I certainly didn't like her, but I don't think this change was right.

I think I’m alright with Swash and MW. Plus I can’t afford the mods... I have an expensive lumi prank planned. Though the target reads this thread and knows what’s coming.

Ye, ngl, I just smushed her w MW + Trident on my mid t12 and I dont think those were ideal at all lol.

Yeah, ME and USS might have been better choices since she most often was using dark and ice. But she has been duly smooshed and her book tucked away for Chums to read later.

My only problems with her now is getting chain frozen and the occasional crit hits.

Good thing I only battled with 1 pet for 5 wins. It was amusing and frustrating at the same thing try to blast as many of her annoying weapons as possible into bags of sand xD

Hmm still not really wanting to get that challenger either.... sucks it was nerfed so somewhat late into the game. Well if anyone has many battle pets, get your wins in now before changes are made again?

My guess is: Since it's a CS challenger, it's not really viable to sell something that only a small subset of battlers can beat. Also, there are still a few days left for it in the CS. So it's nerfed. This probably would have been correct thing to do from the start.

In terms of creative effort for a CS challenger, it could have been better. Regardless of the annoyance factor, it's too much like Careaper. It would have been a nice Paramnesia challenger though.

Blech. Still can't get past three wins on Chronochrome even with the nerf. Tried with combinations of USS, Trident, Swashbuckle, Natasha, and Ether.
