I used to use Mr cools blog, but I think thats out of date by quite a bit now.

Also this is off topic and I'm sorry but I don't chat anywhere but here: Any word on gardens? I seem to remember a bit ago, like a year or two maybe, discussion of changing gardens to actually be more of a useful/interactive thing, but I can't remember the details and I haven't heard anything about it since. I just ordered seeds for my garden IRL and I'm all hyped up about it.

Feel free to comment me if you have any info about it, I really am not trying to go off topic. I just don't want to create a thread just for this question.

i don't mind when the chat trails off a bit, it's not like we have a ton of Battle Content (TM) to fuss about atm :p but uh, i think?? this came up when esther and emma were going on their honeymoon, right? and we all had to vote? so it's somewhere behind the tea hut, which is, like many things, "coming soon" because it was "more involved than expected" (tbh at this point i wish they'd just release whatever was already done, even if it's not in the order we voted on)

(i also have gardening on the brain... i have hollyhock seeds i kidnapped from one of my uncles who passed recently; they weren't stored well but i'm hoping to plant some this week and pray they sprout, hah.)

I've always felt that this is a chat for battler friends, to mostly talk about that but also sometimes other things, but I've definitely seen complaints when it gets off topic and I just don't want to upset anyone :P I agree with you though, sometimes this thread goes over 24hrs without a post so hopefully no one will be mad.

Ah, that was it! I couldn't remember the context for it. Well poo. I can't say I'm not excited for a tea hut, because I do love tea, but the infamous "Subeta Soon" doesn't exactly inspire confidence. I was hoping a gardens update would be incorporated into Vesnali this year.

I looooove hollyhock! I don't have any, we have a small yard and have pretty much used all our space, but hopefully we'll be moving in a few years to a place with more land where I can get all the things I want. If it were up to me we would have no lawn at all, it would just be entirely garden space. But I don't know how that would go over when trying to sell this property haha. Do you know what color your hollyhock is?

if they want more battle stuff to be to focus of conversation then... they should also post battle stuff :3c but yeah i figure the occasional derail is ok but that’s just me haha

as for the hollyhock, it’s a mystery! we visited a place my uncle did the landscaping for, and my aunt was like, “oh look, hollyhock, we used to make dolls out of the flowers and seed pods :)” and then she and my mother snapped a bunch of seed pods off the hollyhock and dumped them into one bag, so it’s seed roulette - pink, white, and purple i think. (my uncle was like... “i could’ve just given you seeds, i have loads of the stuff” lmao)

also i agree, lawns are. not a great use of space. ground cover is necessary but grass is super boring!

Mr.Cool's blog will have a suggested tier breakdown, but it's out of date. You could use 's guide that has all of the opponents, their difficulty level and what weapons they use to give you an idea of suggested tier. She has the suggest tier for some of them but not all

That's exciting though, it can be fun not knowing what you're going to get. I hope you get the seeds to sprout! Seeds are pretty hardy, as long as they haven't been damp and begun to rot they're probably fine. In general they can tolerate dry and cold conditions pretty well. Last year I left a packet of zucchini seeds that someone had given me in my car over winter (forgot they were in my glove box, where I put them for "safe keeping" -eye roll at myself-). They were already two or three years old at that point, but all four that I planted germinated even after my poor care of the seeds.

We're getting like...maybe at most 2 inches of snow tonight, and the whole city is prepared to shut down. Stores are sold out of everything like it's the snowpocaplyse. I've been getting emails all day saying not to get myself hurt, and I'm pretty sure I won't be going in to work tomorrow. And this afternoon we were all wearing short sleeves and enjoying the sun.

On a battle-related note, Longshot's finally T11 so now he can beat Chase and Maleria's Familiar super easy. Pretty sure he could do it before, but without a dark blocker I was far too lazy to try. Now all I have to figure out for BQs is Crawbeast, and at some point Prodigy.
