I think that was fixing a divide by zero warning/error on the pet page when your pet's max health was zero. Not sure I ever brought up not being able to leach when you only had one stat, but maybe it was someone else who reported it.

Also, a couple issues with the new training page: 1:This morning it failed to properly roll over to the next stat and gave me that error that I can't train more than 2.5x my level per stat. 2: Can this use the css classes from the main Jim page? I hide the auto train option when I'm not using it to avoid accidentally fat-fingering my way into wasting csc. This may be more of an issue with small screen size on mobile/being inattentive/being generally a stupid person, but I had a way to avoid this mistake and now I have to use the widget to get back to Jim so that I can have my custom css keep me from messing up. People also use custom css on Jim's page in order to hide stats they don't want to train (I think this can even be done on a per pet basis). The new page strips away this control, and losing it is very aggravating. There was a cat in my face screaming FEED ME, SEYMOUR, so I may have missed if there was link back to Jim on that page.

Edit: Without cat demands, I found the link back to the Training Center. Would still like this page to respect the css from Jim's page so you can hide autotraining/specific stats with with the same custom css.

Stats have aesthetic value and meaning. If they didn't, we wouldn't see people doing things like trying to get their stats to specific numbers. While a leech can fix that for main stats, a random event or job bonus can ruin that when it comes to level and intellect. An easy example might be if someone had a fan pet for an RPG character and matching that character's stats was important to their profile, especially where level caps are a concern. So even if you or I would never use a level leech, that's no argument against having them.

There's even a case for intellect leeches, but those should probably be set up so that they can only leech boosted/random event gains so they don't create an issue with reading books. Again, neither of us would probably ever use it because we as battlers value every intellect point, but having it would allow other players to have ways to deal with unwanted stat procs.

stat leeches needing two stats to work was my bug-the-bug thread; it's ??two years old?? and resolved, so unless something's changed since then, it's still resolved o; i don't think i've bothered to leech mephilia since, so i don't know for sure. i have a number of pets with no/limited training so i might leech someone for kicks, just to see.

I think I might have leeched a pet to 0 about a yearish ago, but I just grabbed one out of the pound to test.

If the argument to have them is for aesthetics of a pet, even aesthetics of the item itself, then sure. In terms of usefulness though they are pointless if you train and battle your pet.

Not everyone is trains for battling. I see a lot of pets where people get all stats plus intellect and level to 100. I assume that’s because it looks pretty because it’s certainly not practical.

So I have decided that with each month that comes up I will pay for my CS challengers by using hoarded Morty Cards and Bathhouse csc. :) I like the price adjustments they made as well.

I hate the new battle links up at the top, ngl. Especially during fights, they push everything down and make me have to scroll on the battle page to fight.
