It seems like a solid theory given the background information on his family. I would personally LOVE this to be true.

I appreciate the links to help for the solitaire/peg/marble puzzle. Never did a puzzle like that before.
“Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are.” - Benjamin Franklin
"Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the orphan." - Isaiah 10:1-2
I used these two posts to help me do the spider puzzle today.
Ok, I got through the spider puzzle and now there is more....
You explain the events of the day, and mention that you have a few questions:
Ask Jaxon about the Four Houses. Ask Jaxon about the Skedhu.
What do I do now? Thank you!
thank you to everyone who helped with the marble game. that was a hard game to finish if you don't know what you're doing.
I think the "mirror" Jaxon mentioned realized the Skellys' evil intentions and cast some kind of curse on the family to wipe them out while sparing the humans. Only full-blooded Skelly were affected, which is why the Rainsongs are still here (including Connor, who is said to be part Skelly right?)
Just click on the link to get more plot, my friend. ;)

~ lol thank you!! I was afraid to click the wrong thing duh me lol
You're welcome.
I'm personally wondering if Jaxon might not get his body because of his connection to his father's plan, or at least have to complete some task to redeem himself and achieve his goal. He doesn't remember what happened, so we might need to brace ourselves for some harsh truths..... The Dungarde and Jaxon seem to be different people/ have different personalities, so I'm not sure if the"Dungarde is Jaxon's body" theory holds weight.
I was thinking that "taking the humans to the Skedhu" was a euphemism for "take them into the haunted forest where they will die"...
I found that this youtube video really helped with solving the solitaire/peg/marble game.
SPOILER (click to toggle)
How to solve Peg Solitaire
I do not understand the peg game at all.
RIP Mom, I love & miss you more than you know. Tell Dede hi.

Someone mentioned on another thread this bit from the Subetapedia:
Shadowglen is named after Fort Shadowglen, a former human stronghold, which in turn took its name from a corruption of the Tebh word skedhu, "looking glass".
If there was a fort that the humans built, then I guess they were defending themselves from the native Tehb people at some point. Maybe there was a war/battle and Jaxon was involved somehow?
How I can move the marbles? .___.

Thank you very much!

Ah. That makes a lot more sense. My Dunguarde theory seems weak when the Subetapedia article comes into play. Either way, I'm really into this plot and will be mulling theories over while I wait for plot steps. :)

If you're interested in plot speculation, we've been doing a lot of that over in this thread as well:
