Ugh snow!!

It is what it is. Hopefully, I'll be able to hike again this summer. I have whiplash and walking my big dog, if he got a little out of hand, would not be good.

Maybe he will find out how great I am, or maybe I'll drop out of his game and he won't. Or maybe he and I just have too incompatible of ideas of what makes a fun game to really be a good combination to play one together.

I mean, we talk about writing, and he finds mine usually boring, but well observed and characterized, and I find his usually oversimplifying and politically missing the point more often than not, but well intentioned and written stylishly and interestingly. So we have different ideas about what's more important in writing, too. And he's barely an adult (22 living with his parents) and just doesn't understand my life at over 50. And temperamental... very sweet usually, but prone to super defensiveness if you disagree with him. Kind of like my husband was when he was that age, actually (which was when we were first dating) maybe that's why I like him despite him annoying me? 😆 anyway I might quit the game because how is it going to be fun at this rate? But I feel like I shouldn't quit in a huff so I'm waiting til I'm over being mad to make the actual decision.

I think you are being very rational and wise to wait and decide!! And I find your well observed and characterized style of writing to be the kind of writing I'm more drawn to and interested in reading.

I actually made this one to go with the hair style (was having trouble using it) and with one of the NY backgrounds but the token shop one just matched so well!

It does match well!! I just figured what I don't like about mine is the missing ground/floor. Plus the cat on the ground doesn't really match but I had to use it.

get one of the carpet scraps from morostide on the floor. or use any background behind the carpet!

Yeah we thought he might come today. Got admitted to the hospital for a couple of hours. Oh boy!

HA making is my favorite part of subeta! Before I took a few years off and came back, HA making was the only aspect of subeta I bothered with.

I find it very fun too to make HAs but I like other features too (collecting, achievements, pets, chatting, etc)

I like doing everything now and I blame :-D I've even worked on a few achievements.

Oh no I'm sorry D: That sucks, hopefully you can tell him he was a little harsh and it will work out. Also if you have opposing ideas of what is fun thats never good. It can cause issues because both of you have your own ideas. I'm not really sure how to help, I would only suggest talking to him and hope he understands

Oh no. Maybe have a hiking buddy there just in case? They could make sure the dog doesn't get out of hand and can help you if needed

I'm trying to do it when I can. It comes and goes in waves but I'm pushing through some of the days I don't feel like it. :)

I swear, I washed my car and the next day it rains. Same thing happens when we mow our yard.... I feel like the universe mocks us sometimes for our efforts to keep up, rofl.

talking to him (Thursday) was what caused the problem.

I told him I'd take a break and talk to him tomorrow (which was Friday which is now over) but I didn't talk to him yet again because I still feel mad. I guess I'll try to wait till I get over being mad. Hopefully I won't miss too much. And if he kicks me out of the game for disappearing, it'll solve that conundrum. 😕

Oooh Well all you can do is try and not approach the situation too mad and try to go about it calmly. That way if he still gets mad at least you know you were adult about it. And thats no fair if he kicks you out, I hope it doesn't happen

No I haven't, is it a chain or is it just specific to where you are? You doing anything nice over the weekend?

I know when I first left university, unhappy with how I had done, I felt super embarrassed to tell people the grade I got. I know that hearing other people's experiences doesn't make yours feel any easier, but I promise you it isn't the end of the world. My ex boyfriend was asked to leave uni because his grades were so poor, one of my friends failed a module several times and was asked to leave. And you know what, they're successful, funny, kind and intelligent people. I know when people tried to reassure me it was difficult to accept, but you really will recover from the whole thing <3
