Oh yes, he is a good reason to miss a bathhouse day :) I did set a reminder on my calendar to log on and get it done every day now.

His due date was December 28th and since I was having a few issues, they decided he needed to come early at 34.5 weeks. He weighed 3lbs 15oz and has been doing very well in the NICU. He is now in an open bed instead of the incubator, so that's just one day closer for him to be at home with us :D

haha, I feel like we're still in maybe September. The hunger thing has been going on since around 2014/2015 and when I was dx with my thyroid issue I figured that would help. Nope, not really. Kind of bothers me to be honest because people talk about what they're having for lunch or dinner daily and I'm over here like I don't know, a can of beets? 💁 Lol Like I legit don't understand I do make menus for budget reasons or to break out of our routine but it's not because I'm craving or because I'm hungry. So very strange is all I have to say.

Do ya have your tree up yet? I think you do... My sister came over and helped me put mine up. If it weren't for her it would still be in the box in the second room. I don't like decorating by myself, I feel like the tree should be a family thing so without anyone else wanting to do it I just don't have a drive for it these days.

I'm glad he and I are both good. I was really stressing out last week while talking with the doctors my blood pressure was high. Thankfully my husband was able to help me relax and everything. Now it's just like "do we have everything for him when he comes home? what else do we need to do?!" So many lists haha! Thanks for the HA compliment, figured it was time to change it up for a bit.

Of course tomorrow is great! It's been a whirlwind for sure over the last week for all of us. Definitely tired every day, even with a nap. No date yet, but now that he is in the open bed, he has to keep gaining some more pounds and keep his temperature regulated. Eric and I think he'll be home with us probably next week sometime.

I really don't know how you can stand not having him with you. What is his name? And while I know it's rough I guess it is a nice chance to recover a bit before jumping into full time motherhood. The first few months are def the roughest.

I can't stand it one bit! I've already had some crying sessions over all of this, but I just have to remember that he will be with us very soon. For sure, the rest before he comes home is really helping. The recovery from the csection is going great. His name is Michael Kainoa. Kainoa is hawaiian and means Strength of the Sea or Freedom of the Sea.

I love like sugar with spices. Sweet spice blends are sooo good.

I sure hope it helps with his snoring and his bouts of not breathing. So I'm looking forward to not stressing that as much if anymore. Just hope he'll wear it a good portion each night and not get mantrum, lol. Yeah, a cardiologist for me. I got some vague results back from that exercise test I had done (like a stress test of sorts for the lungs/heart). Any who, the doctor who ordered it was very vague about my heart but said my lungs were perfectly fine. Which, okay, if they are that's great! But the fact he was saying my heart was weak with no actual information didn't sit well with me or my husband. When I asked what I should do for my heart he just said to exercise. I mentioned that's all I've been wanting to do and it fell on deaf ears. My ENT was not pleased by that and wants me to be seen so that if my heart is in fact weak I should take steps to strengthen it if possible not just dive in and cause potential damage.

Yes!! I'm on a spicy and sweet kick too. I put pickled spicy jalapenos in my breakfast smoothie! Lol And I add a dash of white pepper to almost everything, sweet and savory both. I just found this herbal tea called Sweet and Spicy. So far I've had 2 flavors and both are super good!

Oh the c-pap is mainly for not breathing. But just maybe it will stop the snoring and he'll wear it. Like I know your hubs snored. Lol i guess I assume all men do. :-P
