I get that stuff too. But I use the humidifier nearly all year because if it isn't the furnace drying things out, its the A/C.

I thought of you IMMEDIATELY when I saw that new subq release. glad to know my intuition was correct! (I hate how they never seem to put up the new stuff. I've got exactly one Mimi Moe Pride item, and those colours are my favourites.)

I'm with Kat and Uniique, even though I joined subeta right before Survival 2017.

I understand that they don't want people to use autoclickers for these events, which would be disastrous, and trick or treat once a second 24/7.

But I wish that they would handle this by limiting the number of TOTs you could do every day instead of these crazy cooldowns. It's one click every ten minutes which is no big deal to a lot of people I guess, but I'm ADHD and have a hard time switching gears, so every time I get involved in a task or a conversation I lose TOT opportunities, and since I have an actual job my TOT time is already limited.

The way it is, it's still unfair--if you can get away with clicking every ten minutes all day long because your attention mechanisms plus job and school schedule permit it, you can TOT rounds around the rest of us. And I know of people who do that...

I would enjoy the events a lot more if there was no cooldown, but you could only TOT or kiss or dance 60 times a day, which seems like a lot, but there are people who are awake and not attention-disordered and not under supervision who can get all their work done and still TOT 108 times a day (6 times an hour for 12 hours), and that's allowing for 8 hours sleep and 4 hours AFK every day.

I enjoy Masquerade more than other events with cooldowns, because even though I can't dance all day like my friends who are in uni, I can accept all their dances at once when I get home with no penalties. It's what saves me for getting trinkets.

(Also, I vastly prefer Survival, Masq and Vesnali to Morostide in that you get tokens to be exchanged for the holiday items you actually want rather than random stuff--everyone gets things that they like, and nobody's stuck with 83 sad scar dolls that have to be fragged because nobody on earth wants to buy them.)

... not necessarily. I live in San Francisco, but I work in Oakland, which is a much hotter climate. The other day I had to go into work a few hours earlier than normal because of an emergency meeting. It was still dark when I was getting dressed and I put on a brand new blouse that I love which is navy blue with long sleeves. BIG MISTAKE. It is super cute with green and navy plaids. Fortunately my skirt wasn't a wool tartan, it's a plaid twill like a school uniform (it actually was made for that purpose, but I just happen to like it.)

My office is on the sunny side of the building and the building is very old. No A/C. I had to pull down all the blinds so I didn't drown in my own sweat.

It's usually hot in Northern California in September and October. Our summer doesn't really get started at the same time as everyone else's--something about the microclimate around the bay keeps it cold in the early summer. Mark Twain wasn't kidding about that summer in San Francisco.

But it should be over by now, darn it.

LOL! I feel ya! I use distilled so don't have to boil - I could use cold or nuke for 20 seconds and I'm usually too lazy. :-P

is it sterile? that's my concern. I work in a hospital and ever since I heard some dude got neisseria from a neti pot with unsterile water....
