Nov.will be here in know time.The months are flying by so fast.I would like to know how the surgery went for you when you have it done.Do you have to follow a diet before they do the surgery? I still haven't done anything with mine but go to the seminar about it.

i had to do work before i even could come and talk to a doctor. Had to see a dietician for 3 months but still go there, quit fizzy drinks, and get a healthy eat style. And go to the gym more...

So far i also had done: blood drawn (2x). fysical check up. made a heart film. medicine check ups. talks with there doctors, psychologist, anesthetist & dietician. Information day.

And after all of this i had the ok for surgery. I have another information day where they will go further in surgery, etc in september.

Now it's wait time for a date, i hear about 4 weeke before when it will happen.

Thank You at least I know how you prepared for it. I have a list of things I have to do also. I did a mammogram that was one thing I had to do that was on the list.I have to get going on the rest soon I Guess. Hugss :D

well i had to otherwise they would not help me. And i did not mind at all. It's all for a good cause :)

But I'm no where near what has done yet.I have a lap-band right now,but not using it,I've had it for at least 8-9 years or so,but it didn't work for me it's still in there they don't take it out unless it gets in the way of something or I have this sleeve done,so this is the next step.I did everything that was on Leonie's list before for the lap-band.I was just wondering if they had a diet she had to be on.I was looking up on the internet what a few people went through to get the sleeve done,they were on a liquid diet 2 week before & after the surgery.But they are glad they had it done. :D hugss

I had a diet change so eating much healthier and in 6 times. 3 weeks before surgery i have to follow a special food diet to let my liver shrink but not a liquid one. After the surgery i have a few week a liquid diet and then slowly to a normal diet

Thank You for the info.I'm glad you don't have to do liquids before surgery.After surgery it does make since,until you start eating normal food again. Hugs

Sorry I haven't really posted that much in a few days. I'm not sure of what to say so I go quiet until I can think of stuff to say.

Tomorrow is my dad's birthday and we are taking him to the movies to see Christopher Robin. I heard it was good and it's hard for me and my parents to agree on a movie so that's a plus.

Thanks. Yea I think he's excited to see it. It's been awhile since we went to the movies so it will be nice to get out for a bit. That's good you got a new computer. It's always nice to get a new one. I'm sure you'll get used to it soon.
