i honestly can't wait for spring, it's awful to know the worst of winter has yet to come haha.
how are you guys doing? i am attempting to recover from the bomb that is luminaire that exploded (':
Our winter is mild, usually upper 30s or so. I look forward to the infernal season again. Holidays don't matter much to me, its just easier to butt out.
I'm doing ok, but could be doing better. This holiday season hasn't been easy for me since my husband is deployed and he missed Thanksgiving and Christmas. I've been down in the dumps since Christmas Eve. I got everything sorted out in my wardrobe from Lumi but I have some last minute gifts to do at some point. I bought myself a Switch a couple weeks ago. Now to slowly start accumulating games for it.
Hey, I saw your banner and thought I'd stop by and say hello. I play a lot of games. I got red dead redemption 2 for Christmas and it's a lot of fun. It's so fun playing with my friends on the online part of it. I also play Elder scrolls online with a few friends that helped me get started. I love skyrim so I figured I would like this one too. Before I got red dead redemption 2 I was playing a lot of Assassin's creed Odyssey and that is also a great game so far. I play all of those on xbox one. On pc I mostly play the Sims. I didn't think I'd actually enjoy Sims 4 but I've gotten used to it now and It's fun. I don't have all the expansions yet but there are two that I want to eventually get for it. Also is anyone else super excited for Kingdom hearts 3? I preordered mine months ago for xbox one and I can't wait.
I'd be interested in the PlayStation classic if the selections are favorable. If Raystorm, Road Rash 3D, and Strikers 1945 are included it'll be a goal.
Hi everyone! Hope you had some nice holidays and hopefully a very happy New Year (2019 better be good!!!!)
Is anyone well versed in Animal Crossing? It keeps popping up and I'd like to maybe give it a try. What's the point? Is it interesting? Etc etc. I'm trying to find something to do during my 2 hours of commute for the next 5 months (aside from falling asleep haha).
There are currently 5 Animal Crossimg games, 1 for the Gamecune, 1 for the Wii, 2 for the DS, and 1 for mobile. There is a game on the Wii U but its kinda similar to Mario Party, and later this year a new game will be released for the Switch. The games are all pretty similar in what you can do, dig for fossils, catch bugs and fish, befriend and help the animals in your town, but each game also has some differences. Animal Crossing Pocket Camp is the mobile game and you are the manager of a camp and a cabin and your goal is to help and befriend the traveling animals and invite them to tour camp. It's a great time killer because there are events for every holiday so you can keep busy. There is a spin-off type game (I guess it could be called that) for the DS called Happy Home Designers and you decorate the interiors of homes and businesses for your AC friends. I find Animal crossing to be pretty interesting. The console games are based on real time, so you can play day by day, or you can time travel essentially to play multiple AC days in one day. There are consequences on the console games though. If you haven't played in a log time, some of the animals may move to a different town, and it sucks when it's your favorite character that moves. I can give you more details about the DS and mobile games, depending on which platform you're considering playing it on.
(Sorry this is long, I really love the series)
I don't have any consoles - No no wait. I have a GameCube and a DS. I don't have a cellphone and my tablet lose WiFi haha. So yeah ...
Is it only on 3DS? It looks like a very nice chilling game. There is also Minecraft on 3DS I reckon ...
Animal Crossing is only available on Nintendo systems and mobile. There are 3 games available for the DS: Wild World (second game released), New Leaf, and then Happy Home Designers. New Leaf is different from all the other games because you move into the town and are made mayor, so you have some control over decorating the town and you can force residents to move. This game also introduced the option to customize furniture. All of the AC games are pretty chill because you can do whatever you want. You can run around and catch bugs and fish and then either turn them in to Blathers at the museum or sell them. You can help out residents, travel to the island to play mini games and catch sharks amd other sea life, collect fruit, bells l, and items from trees, etc.
From what I'm gathering, I can play Wild World only (as I own just the standard DS). I guess I could look for secondhand 3DS in pawn shops and online. I was more looking forward to New Leaf, as some of my own friends play the same, etc.
Thank you for explaining the game to me :)!
Yeah, New Leaf is for 3DS as is Happy Home Designer. If you don't think you'd use the 3D feature often or at all, look for the new2DS. I have one and it's nice to not have to worry about accidentally turning on 3D.
You're welcome! Happy I could help!
We can play with the new 2DS? That's awesome! Is the XL better than the other one?
that's not too bad, i'm jealous! although our chances of snow are slim here too. it's beautiful but i haaate cycling on icy roads ;v;
i can imagine the holidays were lonely for you, i'm so sorry to hear that ❤️ when will he be back? are you feeling better now that the holidays are over?
hi there, welcome! sorry for the late reply - the holidays have been crazy. i can't wait for KH3!! i might not get it immediately when it comes out, i promised a friend we'll still play 1 and 2 before it comes out and that might take a while c': you'll have to tell us all about it!
i've never played animal crossing but might be interested - if you decide to play it, let me know your findings? c:
Definitely! I will have to save up tho, as I don't have money to purchase anything right now.
Thanks and it's ok. I understand the holidays being crazy. I wanted to preorder the physical copy for the cover artwork it looks amazing. It's been so long since I played 1 and 2. But I never played any of the others ones. But I plan on watching videos about the one my friends told me so I'm not completely lost. I will let you know what it's like without spoiling it to much.
I've played Animal Crossing on Gamecube, Nintendo DS and just recently on my cell phone. I actually like the mobile version it's pretty fun. It's definitely a chill game. I wanted to try out New Leaf also because a few of my friends that have played it loved it.
;w; I don't even have a cellphone to play the game...
I'm sorry. If you do one day though it's worth giving it a try.
As soon as I get a job (hopefully). Does it takes data or internet (3G or WiFi)?
