I can't believe it's Kindergarten so soon and that baby will be one! It's all come around so fast!

I am coping just about. I have been keeping myself busy since it happened and as it's my husband that's usually doing feeding times since my job change, I hadn't seen as much of them since I started the new job. Yesterday and today I have been feeding Poppy and I got upset that it was just one lot of food I was preparing - it's like it hit me again.

I don't know about another bunny yet. We're going to see how Poppy does for now. If she starts to show signs of loneliness then we will look at getting her a friend. I've said we should look at getting an older bunny instead of a baby so that it's less likely one will be alone for a long time again.

Older bunnies frequently struggle to find homes so I've heard. It would be nice to help out an older rabbit. How's Poppy? Is she still getting used to being the only bunny at home? How are you doing?

We're all doing okay actually. Poppy seems to be adjusting very nicely. She acts just like she did before they were bonded. She gets a little bored sometimes but it's a matter of finding things to amuse her.

I am glad that Poppy is enjoying a little extra loving from her fur mommy. I couldn't help myself - I love the Spectrum colors so I zapped one of my oldest pets Tobi - Love into a Spectrum Yaherras. I adopted this pet a long time ago - I see his birthdate is over 10 years now!

Things have been getting cooler and the leaves are changing and I saw my first true sign of winter: the shops have Christmas sections. Admittedly these are next to the sale racks of summer clothes but they are there. Which got me thinking and now I have a question for everyone:

Working in marketing I've started doing Christmas ads already for several clients! I was listening to Christmas songs all day today trying to pick which once accompanied a video best.

I know I've just returned after a couple years... but I would love to do a secret santa with everyone again. I remember us doing those and I thought they were so fun!

I just got released from the hospital yesterday evening. This week has been rough as they had to go in an remove my Gallbladder. Has anyone else here had that procedure?

Also, I can't remember everyone's birthdays off the top of my head :( If I missed yours, I apologize. I thought we had a list somewhere but I can't remember where to find it to save my life right now.

Thank you! I had to have emergency surgery as they found it was only working at 1% :O I had no clue as it was not a normal pain for me. I had been in intense pain for a couple days prior and thought I had pulled a muscle when I was moving stuff around. I am still in pain from the healing but for the most part, I think it went fine. I can't wait to finally have full independence. I am not used to having to rely on someone else for all the easy stuff (like lifting, or bending over) but stuff I have to do for now. Not being a big baby lol

As for healing - I hope you heal up soon! Healing is so frustrating ... because I'm an impatient person.

My husband and I are trying to have kids right now and I'm also currently in healing from a Multiple Sclerosis flare up I had. That being said, I was told to wait another 3 months before we tried for my own health benefit. I'm frustrated because I feel fine now, but knowing I have to wait is killing me.

I think you are allowed to be a big baby for a little while tho! Surgery is nothing small and until you feel great, you shouldn't push yourself. That's why we have other people - to help us out when we can't do things on our own.

Very true! Guess I'm just being too hard on myself for stupid reasons. I'm trying to take it slow so I can heal properly.

OOOH! Good luck :) Starting a family is no small feat. My best friend has MS too and it was the hardest watching her deal with flare-ups while being pregnant. I know it is hard to wait, but when the right time comes, I believe you will get your wish :) Best of luck hun!
