Hi all! My surgery was this morning (5am) and 5 hours later I am already home. Loopy ... sore,.. but home.

They said everything went well and I should have results in 1 week to determine if it is considered “success”.

One more week of waiting isn’t so bad. Thank you all so much for your prayers!!!!!

I was rushed back for an emergency surgery shortly after I got home. But ... NOW things seem to be going well. Staying in the hospital for now. Attempting to trick or treat on my phone lol

I was rushed into emergency surgery after being sent home yesterday. I popped some stitches and had a real rough time. I stayed overnight but thankfully this morning everything apleats better. They want to keep me until after I get up and walk around and have some lunch and then homeward bound!

My husband has been absolutely amazing. He took the best care of me and just left to get me some clothes.

I’m thankful for him and as well for great friends here who have been asking how I’ve been

Hey, how are you? Glad they were able to close your stitches again. I had emergency surgery 3 weeks ago and remember how much in pain I was in. Glad you have an amazing support system at home :) hope you feel better soon and take it easy.

How long did it take you to recover? I’m actually feeling quite well all things considered. We just got home and this time seems to be for good.

It’s been a whirlwind that’s for sure!

Honestly, I'm still recovering. Really don't have full energy back but it is slowly getting better. Most of the pain has subsided by week 2 but the 4 cuts are still healing slowly. They will be scars for sure. Sometimes I still get pains but I think its just my body learning how to cope without a Gallbadder now. It affected my liver some, so keeping it easy so it can heal too. I was told to take it easy for 2 months by not lifting anything heavy as I still have a bunch of internal stitching, inflammation and just my body trying to heal itself. Sorry for the TMI if it is too much info. :( You can PM me anytime if you need to talk. I just know how the stitches are and definitely had to deal with some of them ripping on me :(
