"Ye're doing much better with yer ability. I wish I could do something cool like that. But I'm just plain and boring." Zoe said it without remorse, just matter of fact.
Zoe straitened her new uniform a little. She'd gotten it thanks to the pop up shop near the end of last term. Three free brand new uniforms. The designer that had her in the fashion show had donated several items from his new line to the girl, causing Zoe to blush furiously. She was also given some new every day clothing before the start of the term from the donations of Hogwarts. The school had really helped out and even though many of her books were second hand, her parents hadn't had to spend anything on their daughter's supplies for Hogwarts. It was a blessing because even with doing a lot of things free in Paris the holiday had cost her folks a lot. And that was even after her uncle had gifted them the tickets to the opera, ballet and fashion shows.
"Aww maybe our kitties can play together. I adore cats a lot and Tales is a sweetie," Zoe said. "Oh I really enjoyed the Palais Garnier. My uncle bought us tickets like seven months in advance to see both an Opera and Ballet. He wants me to become a flautist so he made sure to help stock our itinerary with musical locations."
Fade adjusted his hat nervously. His cheeks still a pinkish shade of blush. “Thanks, been practicing a lot.” He glanced at Sauvage who had witnessed a number of interesting trial and errors Fade made over the break, and then frowned slightly at Zoe’s comment. “Don’t say that. Your Head Girl, they don’t make boring people heads of houses.” Why she always thought so little of herself he couldn’t say, but he could somewhat relate. Weirdly enough if felt as if the more friends he made, the less nagging all the negative thoughts became. “We should have a cat party! Chase hasn’t met Citrouille yet. I’m sure they will be best friends.” He wasn’t sure at all, but the meeting was inevitable. Chase was known to be mellow, but never ceased to surprise Fade with his random erratic behaviour. Like he was being a brat on purpose sometimes when he knew Fade was counting on him to keep it cool. ( )
Sauvage squeezed Fade's hand when he tried to defend Zoe from herself, like she could tell he was relating Zoe's situation to his own. She smiled when Zoe corrected her uniform. She was a strong girl and knew a lot of love from the people around.
Sauvage said, "Yes, a cat party could be fun. My Citrouille is a beet nairvous when 'e meets people for ze first time, but 'e is a very curious cat. Endependent, too." She bit her lip, thinking further on her cat's personality. "Actually, I cannot promise zat 'e will at all be a pleasure. Likely, 'e will wander off and not return until all ze ozer cats are gone. Citrouille really prefers 'ees soleetude. He ees my cat and I barely ever see 'im myself!"
