I think the mage runs on some really simple RNG without any sort of normalization algorithm. I've had 0/60 before and 8/8, both of which seem fairly impossible...

had a thread that listed battle sets by tier. He also offered lower cost options, thus making a GOOD, BETTER, BEST set for each tier up to tier 8. Problem is, I can't find it since I accidentally wiped my profile. It is worth finding considering how quickly pets can level up and you will be able to see which weapons are used through multiple tiers. Good Luck!

It's stickied actually [topic not found] Though I just bought stuff from The Weapon Guide until I hit T7ish, you don't really need to have perfect weapons until then, just stuff that does icons ;) Having a full heal, freezer (once you're at a tier with one), and 2 weapons is pretty much all you need, maybe a bomb too And an infinite scroll of some kind

I've been turning in a lot of amulets lately, and my ratio is almost always consistently at least 1/6. Yesterday I turned in 333 and my ratio was 1/5 tho.

hahaha, I turn in a lot! XD I just checked my chat logs and in the month of july I've turned in 1323 amulets - and received 249 tomes.

- Thanks so much! I had noticed someone said ColdDragon's pet ONLY had 4k Intelligence. I was like there must be something I'm missing, but no it is I assumed just boosters (but your math still helpful, now I know the most efficient way to do it).

So are you the reason amulets are now 400k? :P I think I've made the Mage angry, got 3 from Quentin today and still my shard streak continues xD

Haha, 'only', makes all mine look exceptionally dumb I ignored efficiency with Tarrant so I could hit 1600 early, needed those freezing scrolls online ;)

The pets with the most books read are ‘only’ in the range of 2350-2361. So, yeah, a ton of boosters because while we’re always getting more books, only unique ones count and there are only so many onsite. Meanwhile, the Shardmaker may bless you with a tome at a 16% rate if he favors you. Or if you’re like me and he hates you, at 10% because RNG.

rank 501 > 263 Chums was 450ish (455 I think) in August last year when I hit tier 12. And, oops, miscalculated how much each stat costs. So I ended up buying less defense than I intended and no speed. Probably going to end up reaching tier 13 much later than I originally thought.

The classics never go out of style! ;) Besides, it is a wonderful bunch of examples on how you can put together a good set and it won't cost a fortune... (At least until the upper tiers.)

I really think it is the best guide for beginners and those who dabble.
