Just zooming through for a quick, HELLO!

Florence is headed this way (thankfully, won't be as bad here in virginia. REALLY feel sympathy for the Carolinas) but with the dampness in the air, my knee is, of course, killing me. () :D

also, because we WILL be getting some of florence, have been trying to get things ready for when the electric went off. hah. and we KNOW the electric will go off, because you SNEEZE and we lose power. HA!

any way. EVERY THING IS LOOKING GOOD. got the generator working. (keep the fridge going) got some "back up camp food" and the camp stove ready. jugs of water and we will fill the tub for "flushing" the toilet.

should be able to keep the phones/tablets charged. got me a couple of books :D all the man needs to do is bring me home a couple BOXES of wine. lol and i can survive. hahaaa

and , thought you would laugh. went to the docs (to check my blood sugar. still waiting on that info) but he called me this morning, and said my sodium was really low. i asked if that meant i could hav a bag of chips. and he said "I don't see why not"

YEAH!! lol told Georgie, that for breakfast i was going to have tuna and POTATO CHIPS lol grin.

ok. so maybe for lunch.

i just thought i'd say something to you 2, since you know how i never use salt. and would think it was funny. :)

(he called because my "kidneys" were weird, and he wants me to come back in a month and re-check) ack.

any way. i'm gone again. want to make up some meat balls and some sauce to put in the freezer. and have a left over deli chicken i'm trying to figure out what to do with it. (want something i can put in freezer, and will unthaw easy, throw it in a sauce pan for reheating on the camp stove)

should make chicken broth/soup, but i'm trying to make sure all my dishes are washed and every thing is clean by tomorrow.

hopefully. the elect. will only be out for 3 days. lol i think i can survive with no tv and elec. for that long. after that. no guarantees i won't murder my husband in his sleep. hahahaaaaa :D
