(I'm having a lot of coding issues on my finished profiles (I need to figure out how to fix them)). I have had 5 spotlight winners (Orangejello, RequiIem, Torti, Jewley, and LollyPopPop) and if I can fix some of those coding issues I will have 6 more pets spotlight ready. (Mercedes Thompson, Gearworks, Rreign, Bewitchment, -Buttons-, Cheeky)

As for my plans for Talia, I think her name is perfect for my new Starfinder character! She will be an elf, outlaw, operative hacker. She lives in a post apocalyptic technologically advances world where the government is oppressive. She is like a sci-fi Robin Hood. She uses her skills to wreck havoc and bring justice. She always has a plan, she's never seen unless she wants to be. I plan on basing her story on her solo campaign to break another operative out of a high security prison.

Ignore me, lol. I'm going with a different idea.

I'll never stop trying for Talia. As you know, I've applied in the past, and my plans remain the same. I would like the name Talia to exchange with my current pet Nanaba. Nanaba's character would simply become Talia. I do have an old story sample with some other character info here. So Talia would have a TC, minion, custom overlay (which I intend to update when I can get some CSC funds going) and character already set in place.

The name Talia means a lot to me on a personal level. My real name is Natalie, but I've always hated it growing up. I'd have much rather have been named Natalia. Granted, now that I'm older, I don't mind my name so much anymore. Talia is also the name of a coordinator who helped me with getting hospital treatment when I was sick with an eating disorder. She really worked hard to try and get me into the best places so that I could recover.

It's been awhile since I've worked on my pets, but Elfric has won the Pet Spotlight before. Unfortunately the recent sitewide coding changes have effed up his profile, which I'm not fixing until the new pet profile v2 happens; I've been meaning to revamp his entire profile anyways. My goal, for the sake of consistency and not driving myself insane from coding, is to get a basic template going that I can use for him and his battle squad's profiles (Haluk, Hanji, Sven, Vash, Valtam), and then another template specifically for the Subetan family crew (Yakul, Skits, Nanaba and Surf). The others not in either of these categories will have unique profiles.

I tend to be more of an active battler, but when I do get around to working on my pets, their profile coding, artwork, and stories/characters are all done by me. I refuse to outsource my ideas to other users because it feels impersonal and disingenuous to my characters. I prefer to work at my own pace when I have those creative juices flowing. When I don't, I'm usually working on my battle squad's training. My other interests sometimes do take me away from Subeta at times (Neopets, Pokemon, working down at the farm or outside), but I'm always checking in daily.

Getting Talia would motivate me to go back to working on her and my other pets again. Even if I'm not chosen, I will still wait patiently for the day when I can claim Talia as my own. [edit]As for Nanaba's name, I would morph and paint her to something lovely and find her a good home. I'm sure Attack on Titan fans out there would love to her.

Devi is amazing!

like all of my other pets i would love for Devi to be a jollin & i've been looking for the perfect name for a reborn. for the most part, Devi is perfect and fits with the name formatting for all my other pets.

I love that the name means goddess but also that it's one letter off Devil, which made me think that this would be the perfect pet for my future fire jollin. I want her to have the background of an individual who is constantly consumed by choices (who isn't?) and based off the choices she opts for, whatever she touches changes colors between a dark smoldering glow and a bright vibrant hue.
