So artists on here can make clothing and if approved be a Custom Clothing? I know!!! Wish there's a way to search for all items containing a specific characteristics... Lol for example, the "crumpled beach photo" article is surprisingly a closed eyes face.. and I don't see any relation between the name and the picture lool..

The HP series does get a bit hard to go through towards the end- I honestly almost didn't read the last one all the way through. It's way too dark and serious for me. The early ones were a bit more light hearted, though it could be the fact that I read them when I was pretty young and I'm just remembering my childhood when I read them!

LOTR is quickly becoming a new favorite! It was so hard to get into in the beginning for me- so slow and I felt it wasn't that interesting. But now I'm hooked! I'm super excited to read The Hobbit after it- I'm hoping to get a lot more time to read once my semester ends. I've also just ordered Game of Thrones, so I'll also have a whole new series to get to.

I'm just starting to read the Fifth Season series now. It's won a lot of awards and people say it's amazing... so far it's sad, but engaging. The disaster of the end of the world (in the story) is beginning, with some people born with magic powers that draw from heat and life around them - totally feared and hated by their families and neighbors when discovered, because of the danger. And yet just ordinary people.

If you love my HA, thanks, I change them really often so you won't see one stay on for very long :D

Congrats on making your first year here. I just made 10 years here on February 1st. I came with a bunch of friends from Neo. The site has improved in the years that I’ve been here. It used to go down/crash a lot in the beginning. Growing pains. They changed the Subeta map. Wardrobe. CWs came into existence. Changes to your store and galleries were implemented. Raised the cap for battle pets. Battling has become one reason I stay. Besides the people. Staff talks to you. They got rid of cults. Achievements were implemented. Too many to name. Subeta makes the day go faster. Here’s to many more years here.

I remember when I first got here. I was so excited to be able to earn more pet slots than I was allowed to on Neopets (the limit is 4). As soon as I could, I went to adopt pets from the pound (I got ChubberWubz and Iason_Mink this way). I threw myself into earning enough sp for the MC slots. Then one day I got my first angel pet,

I felt so accomplished when that happened, and it started my habit of getting the angel version of species that many users don't seem to have (Ghostly, Zasaba, Terracoon, etc).

Congrats, love, on your anni! <3 My first year on Subeta appears very vague in my mind. One of my cats was very sick and after some time of intense caring, I searched some distraction. My dear friend who I knew from other online game sites told me about Subeta and how she loved it and I joined yet I didn´t understand much. I snatched an item out of the Donation Corner for the pure fun of it for some months, not knowing if it would be worth anything at all, and when I reached 250 items in my inventory, I stopped because I didn´t see how to put the items somewhere other, LOL. After almost a year was gone, Anna convinced me to play for good and I started with Morostide which wasn´t exactly my fav event, too, I am more into the cute stuff. Yet with every day more on Subeta, I discovered more features I loved and was impressed how stuff cared for the user base and how they brought interesting things up even in the event-free time. So I stayed and it´s the game I mostly play nowadays. And love it! <3

Well, I'm not quite at a year yet, just over nine months, but so far everything has been exciting! I'm transitioning from Neopets, like , and I love how much more sophisticated this site is and how, even though there are some things you need to pay for, it doesn't force it on you to make the game inherently better. So far my first (not quite) year has been spent stockpiling pretty much everything I can find, exploring holidays, finding out amazing layering techniques for HAs, and making many new friends. I also thought one pet would be enough, but now I have three cuties, one whom I recently turned Hydrus. I missed a lot of it because I was having a tough time in my life and had to go on hiatus for a few months because of it, but I tried to pop in and participate when I could, and coming back was really awesome.

Haha, I'll get on that Seuss-themed HA ASAP, but first I have to make a contest HA and another one for Masq, so it might be a bit XD

I love LOTR, too! It's so engaging once you manage to work through the hard bit :D Yeah, the reason HP is so dark in the last couple of books is that JK Rowling wrote each book at Harry's level. So the first book is perfect for an eleven year-old to read, because Harry's still seeing the world through rose-tinted glasses. As Harry ages, so do the depth and reading level of the books. Book 7 is meant for more advanced readers (i.e. a 17 year-old).

I will say the site has come so far. The pets art has definately gotten better over the years. I used to not chat in the forums and I feel like it is definitely easier now :) cults are gone too lol! Outfit Not Found

Congrats on completing you first year! I have been here over 11 years! I had been using dial up back then and had a hard time getting the pages to load. It is hard to remember very much about what is was like then but we used to get interest on our savings act. daily. Also the site was down quite alot! Subeta keeps getting better all time and of all the 12 or so pets sites I have tried over the years this is by far the very best of all!.

Hello congrats on a year. I have been here four years, there have been new pets introduced the elephant and mantis whose names fail me atm. Books ... hmmmm .... how about phantom by susan kay? Its a retelling of the phantom of the opera. I will try the suess thing in a bit.

I don't even remember much about my first year, but I started playing before human avatars were released. I think when I started we just had these icon/buttons instead of HAs

That's really cool! That's also exactly the reason I'm reading them to try to learn Spanish- they get more complex as they go on. I had no idea JK did that on purpose. I really thought it was more her writing evolved as she went on with the series!
