Okay, true story here. So I'm in the Kindergarten room, I'm on one side of the room and the teacher is on the other. This is what I overhear:
student is playing like he's poking himself in the eye with a pencil
Teacher: Honey, don't do that. You'll poke your eye out and it'll fall on the floor and somebody will step on it and then it'll be flat as a pancake and you won't be able to see anymore.
student slowly puts the pencil back on the table
And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why it's so hard to teach kids to write these days! :) It was all I could do not to burst out laughing.

Day 983 of my captivity!
My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets. Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength.
The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape.
In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the carpet.
Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made condescending comments about what a "good little hunter" I am.
Idiots!
There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event. However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of "allergies." I must learn what this means, and how to use it to my advantage.
Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow -- but at the top of the stairs.
I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches. The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released and seems to be more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded.
The bird has got to be an informant. I observe him communicate with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. My captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe. For now...

Still cleaning out, today I'll go cut up a pile of scrap lumber and try to minimize the cluttered look.

I talked with M yesterday. She said it is okay to (finally!!) throw away her old stuff. I asked her this after she told me I would feel better if I got rid of some of my clutter... Yikes! Managed to go through all the stuff left in the room she used to use (well, except for my mom's stuff, which is also in there. Managed to look at 3 items and put the rest back... sigh...). There is more of both of there stuff in the basement. Maybe if I have vacation this summer....
Major cleaning this week, which I mostly didn't do, my kids were the main workers. I love organizing when it is already clean; that's fun for me! :) My husband built a cute little shed I put stuff in.

I must live a few kilometres East of you... it's 13:15 now in Israel, where I live. Where are you? I would LOVE to be online when it's a ghost town, maybe that way I could grab a blackheart or other shop restock that are hard to snag!
Hmmm my geography is pretty bad but I'm quite sure I'm further than a few km from you :P. I'm in Australia! It's 21:18 here. I often just assume if it's evening here then it must be morning for everyone else!

Oh you are so sweet! I mostly quest, not trying to get anything in particular. I DO want to get BHH, I try a lot when I am on (I work a lot but play here as much as I can). How long have you been here? No info on your profile page.
My son stayed in a little place near Melbourne (Linlang?) for about 6 months, well, more like 4, he traveled to New Zealand for 2 months.

"9 years, 5 months, 2 weeks, 1 day". O_O Ahem. I have also been on a hiatus for 7 years or so, and returned about a week ago. So let's say I've been around for a week because there are so many new things to catch up on I feel like a newbie!
Wow, nice! Melbourne is wonderful. New Zealand, too! How did your son find Australia? Is it very different to Israel? I've never been to Israel before but I'd love to go some day.
