I bought a lottery ticket AND ate a candy bar! My friend at work asked if I was okay; I warned her that if I ask for chocolate, it's not okay. LoL I can resist it most of the time, just not when the sky is falling.
Things are good today. What a roller coaster ride I have been having! Yeesh! Today I checked off a lot of things I had to do: Pilates, then a meeting, then took a lady home from the meeting (I adore this lady. She is about 75 years old, losing her hearing, walks with a walker, and has glaucoma that the doctors seem to have let go too long. She is going blind. She is such fun to be with! Sharp witted, but she is very hard to talk on the phone with, she can speak all right but she doesn't hear very well over the phone, so the only time I get to talk with her is if I pick her up for a meeting and take her home again. She doesn't go each time, but if she says she will, I try to make sure I can pick her up). Then I went to the tax office, got what I needed, waited for a friend who also had to do something there, brown-bagged lunch with her in the hall, came home and have been doing paperwork and phone calls for 4 hours. And I updated my screensaver on my computer to include the last 5 grandchildren... :D
