yeah, quentin asked me for one of the brand new subQ items the other day :P i think that items should be removed from quest requests until they have been around at least a few months and the price has dropped

I agree. It's a waste of a good question. Either blue building or others. Please also think of taking out the really expensive items as well.
Hi all, I think we have gotten so used to doing quests 100% that we forget they are quests and therefore some of them need to be harder than others. There is NO penalty for not completing a quest ..... you just don't get sp or prizes. I don't have a problem with new items being asked for it is one way you actually get to see new items and you can add it to your wish list then the next time they show up you can grab one. Have a great weekend.
Agreed. Brand new items always are hard to get a hold of for about 3 months until there's enough of the item in circulation that prices are relatively reasonable for quests imo. If this is something that's doable on the programming end I would like to see it implemented.
Agreed but to write that kind of code would be incredibly difficult.

I don't really have an opinion about this either way.
However, I thought it used to be that certain quests did have limits in place based on user shop prices as well (in addition to rarity, etc.) but IDK if that's been changed, or if that was never the case and just something I heard wrong from somewhere.
99% of the time I am able to do every single Quest, so it annoys me when I have to quit one because an item isn't attainable. So I agree there should be a time limit
I didn't know this was still a thing that could happen! But yes, a reasonable waiting period would be nice for the new items to get added to quests. (Agreeing with 2 weeks to a month, maybe depending on item rarity?)
Like others have said, it's one thing to not be able to finish a quest because an item is expensive; it's another thing entirely to not be able to finish a quest because the item isn't anywhere to be found on the site!

I can't support this, sorry. Quests should never be 100% complete-able automatically. They're already far easier than they ever have been.
We actually have things way too easy now.
Before the questing system was changed, you could gauge what you should and should not spend on thirty quests (forty with a GA) and you absolutely did not do all of the quests per day. This provides balance and the idea of a better preparation for the next day. The same needs to be said for our current quests. This is a game, not everything is going to be easy - nor should it be. Item Hunt for example is difficult, and rightfully so. The top tier prize is very worth it as a weapon and thus, very expensive. If you find it too difficult to continue, then you quit and grind up some more sP and try again.
This is what a game is all about. Not everything should just be handed to you, and honestly? It would take a lot out of the enjoyment of the game for me if I were just handed everything, I like having goals and having something to work toward. I can pass up a quest and move on without it interrupting my enjoyment or flow.
I completely agree!!

yeah nah. its already extremely rare to ever have to quit a quest. the loss of a tiny amount of sp once or twice a day isnt worth making staff look into it. as said, quests are already so easy they virtually do themselves at this point.
I think it's the lack of price on the item that throws it off. If quests were to exclude items without a price, it seems like it would be an easy fix.
I think the proportion of quests completed/quests started is already pretty high. If a large proportion of quests were impossible, I'd understand but..the average of harder quests is rather low.
That makes sense, and yeah it seems like it wouldn't be too difficult to correct. That's up to staff to decide ~
I get that it's annoying, but I don't think it's a big deal if you can't do one or two of them.
havent had thad problem for a while but i dont do quests all the because of that problem its so annoying
Why in the world would you think that? Questing is grinding! It's for making basic SP.
If you want a challenge there are plenty of games that are difficult. Go fight battles!
I lost my mind during Keelhauliday because not only did Freyalise not restock nearly often enough or enough copies to go around until they went into the Mystery Box, but those items were being requested during quests as well.
I don't think Freyalise items, Subeautique items or anything less than a month or two old should be requested by quest givers.
